Came here with expectations, probably this was the base of the issue. It took several minutes for the waiter to hand us the menu – although other people came after us and they got welcomed and seated. We did not even get the menus when those people were already sipping their dirnks and eating their Paella. At some point we received the menus, but spend other 7-8 minutes waiting for the waiter to take our order. Finally, after maybe 10-13 minutes, our paella came (we did not mind waiting for the food, we minded waiting for the waiter to treat us like customers). He basically threw the hot Paella pan onto the side of the table and left without even saying “enjoy” – like a decent waiter would do. I think the rating is inaccurate. It is also confusing because El Paeller and La Terazza share the same terrace - you receive two menus, so it is basically the same service but different locations (weird). Anyway, wish I ordered a pizza. At least it would not have been that disappointing. Their Paella is not incredible. Addionally, THEIR FORCE YOU TO ORDER FOR TWO PEOPLE (16.5€ each - Verduras), BUT THE PORTION IS QUITE SMALL IF YOU ARE HUNGRY. Do not get scammed. You basically pay for one portion, but end up paying somewhere over 30€ - it is not worth it, trust me. I do believe you can find better deals for Paella in Valencia.

Read moreWe had direct view to storage where waitress dropped lots of food to the floor and just collected them back to use. When delivering our food the waitress just "dropped" the food to the table. No eye contact, no nothing and the food were not delivered even close to the right person but to the corner of the table. There was no mirror in the ladies bathroon. Experience was actually quite horrible. Menu said "xx euros for the paella, min two persons" but it was surprise that the price was for person and not for the food. Paella was eventually really expensive! Food was average, not great...
Read moreWe ate here twice during our stay in Valencia. We ordered items from the El Paeller Menu and also from their adjoining restaurant La Terazza. The location of the restaurant is great with a nice atmosphere. We could not fault the food both nights the bravas and pizzas we had were great. We also tried the Paella Valenciana and the Paella Negro which were both amazing! Service was also great and we were well looked after by friendly staff who also had good levels of English. The glasses of Tinto de Verano and Agua de Valencia here are also a must try! We thoroughly enjoyed our...
