The Studios Montreux - Swiss Hotel Apartments — Hotel in Montreux

Our apartment was on 1st floor so wasn't too bad to take all 6 suitcases upstairs. The room was clean and with all possible facilities. Stefan was really helpful and kind. He even managed to arrange a fan because it was so hot and there is no Air Con at the property. The only thing is that our room was small for a family of 4. The induction didn't work but we didn't need it much so was ok. There was washer and dryer available at ground floor which was really helpful. Smart check in using an App on the phone so we didn't have to worry about keys. Thr bathroom was spacious and cleaned everyday. Hi all,||||This is just a heads up about this property. I booked a room here for my family and I to stay in April 2023 through Booking.com under the free cancellation policy. ||||I was charged an advance one night’s rate (which I wasn’t aware of), so the very next day I cancelled the booking. This was on 31 Oct 2022. ||||I’ve tried to contact the property multiple times with no response. Booking.com confirmed that they should process the refund as it meets the free cancellation policy, but still nothing has been refunded.||||Shows the level of service offered by this hotel and I’m really glad I decided not to stay there. I cancelled my booking within the free cancellation time frame but yet my credit card was charged. Made multiple attempts to contact the hotel about this, and received absolutely no response after their first email reply to me as follow

"I trust this email finds you well. Greetings from Montreux. We thank you for your message and the information, your email will be directed to our financial department and given the fact that your cancelation has been done according to our cancelation policies we will proceed it and will come back to you with the update. ASAP."
