Il Brigantino — Restaurant in Montreux

Overall great experience!

Atmosphere : we ate outside around 9:15 pm, it was beautiful weather and a fabulous atmosphere. The music playing was soft and gentle. The traffic on the road behind us was low and wasn't loud at all. We thoroughly enjoyed the space and felt very comfortable.

Service : the staff was so attentive and checked in on us throughout our meal at appropriate times. They were so kind and lovely.

The wine: we ordered the white Montreux and it was delicious and served cold and crisp.

Food : we loved it! The truffle pasta was creamy and nutty. The pistachio pesto pasta was delicious and so flavourful, the shrimp in it were so fresh. The steak was perfectly cooked and the fries were crisp and great. They also brought a huge bowl of grated parmesan to go on everything which was fabulous.

HORRIBLE SERVICE, I DO NOT RECOMMEND EATING IN THIS PLACE. I was on vacation with my family in Montreaux a very nice place, our biggest mistake was thinking of coming to eat at this restaurant .... horrible service ... unprofessional ... a bit racist and if you don't order a plate for each person the owner of the restaurant sends you directly to a fast food place .... terrible place please if you visit this beautiful place in switzerland I heartily recommend you not to eat in this horrible and horrible place try to spend your money in a place that is worth worth it and...

We were 5 Asiatique people, one Swiss and our Grandms of 87 year old. The boss did not agree that we shared the plate and forced us to buy one dish per person. At the end we had two and a half pizza left which we took home. When we wanted to pay the wife (of the boss) did not allow is to pay with the creditcard I had to pay cash and I had no cash left. The food was good the other employees were kind. But it seems the owners are not interested to serve his customer well We felt discriminated when we left the restaurant!
