Happy Inn & Hostel — Hotel in Taichung

the staff are very rude,worst pigs ever,so i booked a room online for may 6 ,check in is supposed to be 3 pm,so i arrived around 2 am and wanted to pay for the room and leave my 2 small bags a small carry on four wheeler and a small backpack,so the male reception wasn't sure what to do,he picked up the phone,and called his old female Asian boss,not sure if shes just the supervisor or the actual partnership owner,,so apparently he was on the phone with her ,and she was telling him ,(tell him there's no more room for now unless if he wants to pay for an extra check in,and i wasnt ok with that,lastly when i asked if i can leave my bags until later for when i check in,she told him No!, and i asked him to pass the phone to me,and it seemed like she didn't wanna talk to me,because the lady didn't approve him to pass the phone to me,after like 4 times,then she finally accepted to talk to me,and guess what,she didn't let me say a word,she just started talking on her own,she was like "sorry sir you can not leave your luggage,please leave now ,and dont let me call the police,she was very vulgar,and this was actually the second time for me booking from these people,the first time i was sitting down having a cup of tea with my girlfriend who spoke their language chinese,there was a family of that asian lady,possibly her husband who was apparently watching us on camera,approached us,,and took her walked her a bit and started whispering to her ,not knowing she was my girlfriend and also she was 6 months pregnant and ,and told her something about me,I'm not sure what it was,and my girlfriend was like ohh,and ohh,, and she was unhappy,and and then she came to me told me all what he told her,and we went to the police department and we made a complaint against the hotel,she is considering lawsuit,the very first day i didnt remember which room was mine , my girlfriend and i had our own room,and i accidentally tapped the wrong door,and they started accusing me of stupid stuff i don't recommend this hotel,the management are losers and are nasty and disgusting pigs, the guy was apologizing to my girlfriend,but she is still very upset,another incident that i saw unfold the other day though i just want to keep this short as possible,the other day i saw another couple experiencing problems there at the hotel they were being insulted,and police were called there to assist,the hotel has the worst management ,avoid...

Very clean room. More than sufficient space for single traveller. Upon check-in, receptionist was helpful to explain the various facilities to me - free candy, free water (from dispenser), location of common area, etc. The common area is very big and comfortable. Definitely not a problem chilling out or have a game with fellow travellers.Took a while to locate the hotel though as I could not locate the sign amidst the hundred and one other signs along the street. I had to ask the secuirty guard of the building (in which Happy Inn occupies a few floors, I think). The security guard did not know the English name of the hotel but was quick to point me to the correct lobby to proceed to Happy Inn, which is located on the 10th floor of...

The best hotel/hostel in Taichung! The receptionist is friendly and explains all the rules well. The rooms are quite spacious and clean, and the bathroom is also clean. 😁😁😁

There are many facilities provided, such as free drinking water, a lounge area, a refrigerator, a coffee machine, and more. ☕🥛

For first-time visitors, it might be a bit confusing to enter the hotel since the building is shared—Happy Inn is on the 10th floor.
