Afternoon team with the option of free flow/bottomless Perrier-Jouët champagne. 🍾

Yes, this is expensive (see below). We went here with a friend to celebrate a birthday and the end of a difficult period in our lives. I’ve heard that their other dishes are good but we specifically went there for the afternoon tea experience. And Platform didn’t disappoint. They offer a seasonally themed afternoon tea with a variety of savory and sweet dishes.

On the savory side there was a number of interesting dishes including duck, ham, a creative seat and dried fruit coated cheese ball (far better than I make it sound). I personally would have liked some of the savory food (esp. the quiche) to be a bit saltier. I didn’t take a star off the food rating as my friend assures me that’s because I’m getting old. As a side note they automatically provide refillable salty snacks.

The sweet dishes were plentiful and varied, we particularly enjoyed the tart lemon meringue pies and the fresh mango with cream.

Atmosphere- we were next to a picture window with gurgling fountains so perfect.

Service - professional and attentive.

Have tried their autumn afternoon tea set and overall it’s a pleasant experience. They have a lot of tea selections including Taiwanese, western and Japanese ones. Food is freshly made, I had some soft and fresh sliders and canapés, flan with morel mushroom is tasty. Lots of autumn ingredients like chestnuts, figs and persimmons are used for the desserts. 超失望的😉

原本滿懷期待地提前一週預約，還特地打電話確認，以為「山形縣庄內哈密瓜下午茶」會是值得期待體驗，結果卻超讓人不悅

入座後，飲品先上後送來鹹點。甜點遲遲沒來，因喜歡拍照留念發文紀錄，自然等待餐點齊全，但一等就是超過半小時。詢問2次，服務人員先說「原本甜點就需要久一點」，再說「還沒好請再等」。直到超過四十分鐘後才承認「其實我們也知道您等很久了，我也知道你們一直看向我們這裡」。（但他們也沒有主動告知）期間舉手示意多次，卻總是被忽視或無視

若是個人經營的小餐館尚能接受，但在五星級酒店，實在不可思議

更荒謬的是，結帳時好奇詢問其他人拿到的禮物，才發現少了其他桌都有的贈品袋。詢問後，員工先否認說：我每桌都有送到啊，最後我回到座位確認真沒有才補發。好沒關係，因為是贈品沒有就算了，但新聞稿提到的摸彩券也同樣被遺漏

不得不說，餐食清爽，價格合理，飲品選擇多且能續杯，但所有優點都被拖延、疏忽與推託掩蓋。最後竟推給「點心房沒準備足量，我們已經打給餐廳罵過了」做解釋，讓人徹底無語🤓

結論：再美味的餐點也掩不住服務上的失望。這次經驗讓人毫無再訪的念頭，更是絕對不回訪也不推薦，...
