Neijiang Hotel — Hotel in Taipei

This is a budget friendly hotel, located in the center of it all. Honestly, I was a little skeptical about booking here, after reading some reviews, but my experience was pleasant.

First, location of the hotel is PERFECT. You're a 3 minute walk to Ximen station, surrounded by many restaurants and shops. Also, 16 minute walk to the Presidential Office and Peace Park.

Second, the staff are extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Amenities in the room were great. Wifi was stable with great connection speed. Also, water pressure is strong in the shower. My only recommendation is an upgrade with the furniture in the room. The furniture is dated, but it wasn't a deal breaker for me.

Last, I didn't experience any bed bug issues, as I had read in some reviews, so the 4 star rating stands strong.

Found a used condom at the corner of the room, contacted receptionist and all they responded was they will only do room service to 'help' cleaning it while that should be their job before guests checking in, room was just beside the road so please expect to have clear noises when vehicles passing by, there's no lock for the toilet, electricity will suddenly gone off for no reason and room door will have noises when the neighbor guest open/ close their door, highly doubtful on the hygiene issue in the hotel.

Add-on: No toiletries after room service, talked to receptionist and they hardly understand even Mandarin nor English.

HIGHLY NOT ADVICE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A DECENT...

The accommodation is located at a corner of the street, close to the Ximending shopping district and Longshan Temple (about 1.5 km away). It's easily accessible by exiting MRT Ximen at exit 1 (Red House). There's a pork knuckle rice restaurant across from it.

The room is clean and matches the pictures shown. It has a window for viewing, making it not feel cramped. Two bottles of water are provided daily, along with standard hotel amenities.
