Avoid at all costs, manager absent. Dilapidated, cockroach infested, badly managed hotel. At this price and as an international group hotel it’s not acceptable. Room was infested with cockroaches - the photo I took is a baby cockroach but when I sprayed my own spray (the hotel could not bring me one), a family emerged from behind the desk. I was moved to another room, and there no cockroaches but the state of the room was awful- stained sheets (hard to tell in photos but zoom in), stained bin, dirty floors. I requested to speak to the manager in the morning, was told she was not here and she’ll arrive in the afternoon. Came back in the afternoon, was told she did not come to office that day. I was told to leave my email address - which I did but no one has reached out to me. Manager is absent and has no control of hotel - no wonder the hotel is in such a state. There eare so much better hotels at this price. I do not know why most reviews are positive on Google. I should have read someone’s review who said that there was a fungus mushroom growing in the hotel - now that I’ve stayed I am not surprised. What a joke. I see that they respond to your reviews on Google but it’s obvious they’re spending money on the wrong things (marketing and review management) than what they actually should be focusing on...

Average hotel. Management & staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. Hotel decor & look is not entirely what is shows on google or the website, which is a bit misleading, a little maintenance can go a long way. Bedrooms were spacious, clean and modern. Conference area downstairs is quite dark, not the natural light feel it claims. A la Carte menu & quality was good. The DCP package food was good, could be better. Sky Bar has great views however in November when we travelled as a business delegation, they could not accommodate with air-conditioning, it was unbearably hot in the Sky Bar and the air-conditioning was broken, which wasn't a pleasant experience. The cocktail food and sky bar staff was excellent. Check-In and Check-out took more time than necessary. Africars and tours located at the hotel was excellent with getting around in Dar Es Salaam & Zanzibar. The bd manager was amazing, Other than that, I was fine...

It’s nice hotel in the town. I waited for checking in for 30min even I was on time for checking in. Staff are friendly but they are very slow. They are trying to be good. But they don’t speak professional English much as hospitality staff.(I’m from Japan and my professional is hospitality). After waiting so long, they didn’t say anything like thank you for waiting or so on. Room was good! Clean and I feel it’s similar with Tokyo business hotel. I called at the front about amenities, they said they will check but never call back during my stay(in 3days). I don’t feel it’s 4stars hotel. Service is not enough for 4,5stars for me. But the hotel is clean and comfortable. It was okay! Just don’t expect so high as 4/5stars hotel. The restaurant also we waited almost for one hour for drink and...

Had a short stay at the hotel during a multi-country business visit to a few countries in East Africa (Jan 2023), and the hotel served its purpose for our busy itinerary. Conveniently located. Modern, priced well, and had no problem with our service during our stay. The food we ordered in the hotel were very tasty, flavourful and portion sizes were more than acceptable. It was a joy to have a light meal here and socialise. Food arrived promptly and was served warm. What more can a person ask for. I would definitely recommend a stay here if on business in Dar and need to be centrally located. Not sure how suitable it may be for a family visit with children if on holiday, best check with hotel management to see if it is child-friendly, before booking. Otherwise, a great place to stay.
