Nashu House Stone Town — Hotel in Malindi

We stayed two nights in Stone Town at this hotel and really enjoyed it. The room was simple, clean, and pleasant.

The location is perfect — just a 4-minute walk from the ferry and less than 7 minutes from Forodhani Garden. Everything in Stone Town is within walking distance, and the hotel is also close to the port, ideal for boat trips to Prison Island, Nakupenda, and other activities.

Breakfast was light but decent. Once again, the staff is what makes this place stand out: despite limited English at times, their kindness, smiles, and service quality more than made up for any language barrier.

Minor improvements:

Some small amenities were missing in the room, like a slightly larger trash bin, a bath mat, or a squeegee for the shower — which would have been really helpful.
