Wanted to leave a better review but I ordered the zenj food lovers platter which was supposed to include “tilapia, chicken, beef skewer, seafood spring rolls, fried banana, rice, salad and sauce” when we received our plate it had only the fish, rice, salad, fried banana, sauce and had French fries and fruit. Our server did not return to the table till we were nearly finished and when we asked for the missing items for take away we were told they did not have seafood spring rolls but could do samosas which we agreed to. The takeaway we received had the piece of chicken, chicken skewers that were primarily bone and cartilage and two vegetable samosas. I would have been happy to select a variety of different menu items in the beginning if the platter was not possible but our server did not inform us that they were out of or unable to make it. I was very disappointed and frustrated with my experience because of the lack of attention from our server and failure to provide the items ordered. That being said the Greek salad was delicious as well as their iced coffee and the atmosphere is calm and pleasant with a lush variety of plants sheltering you from the bustle on the street. Definitely a nice spot for reasonably priced good food, as long as you order simple things or don’t mind getting whatever the kitchen decides to make for your order instead of what’s listed on the menu.

Its good, but service is too "pole pole", haha. Also, it was my very first time throughout my travelings to a different countries i had to ask for a glass of milk because of EXTREMELY spicy pepper i ate by the accident by confising it with a seafood in curry :D I thought the steam was about to go from my ears haha. And i like spicy food! But thay was just too much, couldn't finish that curry because of it :P But still a nice place!

A nice place for a budget traveler, delicious food at affordable price. The place is cool with quite environment, staff are very cooperative and the service is delivered timely. Soft and hard drinks are also available at a relatively cheap price. I personally recommend the place whenever you are in zanzibar and you are not loaded with cash.

We went around this and liked as it looked from outside so we tried this. When we come only 3 local people were there. We ordered just 3 simple dishes and waited for them for 2 and half hour. Again nobody was there at the time. In meantime some tourists and local people arriiwed. After one hour waiting usually tourists left. At least our food was somehow good but small portion and they give us incorrect salad. So I do not recommend to...
