Update 23/09//025. We completed our stay and barring ongoing tv issues, the managers met with us, provided a room upgrade(their idea) and a bottle of wine for our troubles. The staff were amazing top to bottom (barring the three checking us in). Yes the rooms are a bit tired but the hotel is being renovated and the old internet and tv etc upgraded. If we return here next time for business the rooms may be much better I hope. So they went out of their way to make up for the problems we had endured and looked after us really well overall. Special thanks to Jaew, Sai and the rest of the lounge crew, the concierge and door folk, and managers for doing a great job. Location for us was perfect. First review We are here for another 2 weeks on business. The location is very good, the service staff are lovely and the room is very nice with a great view up the river. However there have been several problems which we should not have to be experiencing given the cost to stay here. As the good things are quite standard I won't delve into this but will cover the problems we have encountered. First, we arrived several days ago from holiday in Krabi. It's hot. We wear travel clothes and shoes. Our room was not ready on arrival but we were early so that's fine. The greeting staff member then said we could go to the club lounge (we have booked the tower club room suite at no small cost) to wait. What proceeded from there for us was embarrassing and no way to greet a guest to a hotel. I may add we have travelled world wide and never encountered such treatment, especially at an expensive hotel. Obviously we had no access to our bags etc and no less than three management/staff inspected our clothing and footwear, peering under the table at our shoes and then told us we did not meet the dress standard for the lounge (that they had suggested). My wife told them this was unacceptable and end result the male manager told us he had arranged an exception for our footwear and we were taken up. He impressed upon us there was a dress standard but on arrival at the lounge there were people in lycra tights, t shirts, running shoes. To be fair the lounge staff were wonderful, but the check in process leaves a lot to be desired. The concierge/ front of house also fabulous to be clear. I also had to sign some sort of immigration form which I have no idea the purpose and this was not explained. I have not had to do this before even in Thailand and not at our hotel in Krabi. The next issue we have had is our TV has frozen 3 nights in a row. Stopping part way through movies and unable to watch even TV news. The tech guy has been back every night and hopefully this fix is the final one. It's very frustrating but fingers crossed its sorted. Again I reiterate the general hotel staff have been marvelous and apart from these hiccups the hotel is very good. They have tried to put things right with the tv issues. We are here on business and the location is important to us. We are hopeful the final 2 weeks are more consistent than our first few days. So I don't know how to give stars for this review given the good and bad but I am reluctant to rate it too high at this point given the unpleasant check in experience and TV issues. Three is perhaps fair at this time and I may review this when we leave if...

I’m writing this review still at the hotel in order to take in all aspects of the stay I’ve had for 8 nights and ensure that other visitors of Tower club feels this is a well needed information.
The check in was amazing, right when I stepped out of the car they sent (need to order via them for a surcharge) I was greeted personally on arrival and my luggage taken care of. Finally I felt like a king ;)
All in all the check in only took 10-15 min which in my travels I’ve done was the fasted check in I’ve ever had.
When I got the room, it was a bit outdated and there is a need for renovations but all of those feelings fades away by the amazing service that they provide. The room I got had issues with the A/C that sounded like an earthquake and they really went above and beyond and managed to arrange a different room in which I love.
Let’s talk about the service for a moment. I’ve got 3 words for it: WOW!
Impeccable service, it’s like something I’ve never seen in my life before, the attentiveness, caring that they give you is just wow.
I also want to give a HUGE shoutout to the Hotel Manager Jacopo. What a man and what a legend of taking care of the guest without hesitation, just a legend.
Let’s talk about the sky bar, wow wow wow, the view, food and drinks are amazing. Please keep in mind that this is a high end fancy hotel so the prices follow this patterns and there are dress codes in place in which I find quite good.
Sky bar is located on the top floor (64th) and with a really good view, I recommend to go there at least one to enjoy it.
You’re got several restaurants to eat at my recommendation is to try them all to get the best out of your stay.
When staying at Tower Club you also have the lounge included, for breakfast and light lunch.
As I’m a person whom prefers wide options for breakfast and lighter options for lunch I only used it for the lunch time.
Now let’s talk about the breakfast at Mozu….the options where unlike anything I’ve seen in my life, I think I counted over 25 different options (if not more) everything from Asian breakfast to continental options.
You’ve got any special request? Well then don’t worry cause the chefs there really can do it all. I want to give a big shoutout also to the Chef de Cusine Avinash, also he is a legend. He stands with all the guest checking everything is fine, never seen something like this.
Now the only major issue I had during the stay was the elevators. During evening time it’s high peak for also outside visitors to go up to the top floor. My recommendation is to make a sign together with the divider one for guests of the hotel and outside visitors. I do think it’s really important as sometimes need to wait for a while to just get to your room.
Another issue is the fitness room, it’s really great however A/C is not strong enough so it can become very warm inside.
Now, as I am finishing my amazing dinner having Salmon for a second time at Mozilla cause it was so good, the final question would be: Do I recommend staying here? Well the solid answer is HELL TO THE YES. It is a must to get that luxury stay in Bangkok.
Thank for reading all of this and hope y’all...
Read moreMy husband and I were so excited to stay at this hotel, and it really seemed to be impressive. We were sure that location was spot on, that the service would be spectacular and that we would be blown away by the view. Upon arrival, we arrived at 7:30pm, and we were asked to wait in the lobby lounge area. We waited for almost half an hour until someone from the concierge approached us. And then it took another 15 minutes of formalities to check in. Escorting us to room, the hotel staff surprised us with balloons and cake in the room for my birthday, and arranged decorations in the bedroom for my husband’s and I anniversary. It was lovely. Months before arrival, we booked a river view suite. We requested that the room be a corner room. We did receive a corner room, but it didn’t have a river view at all. That was disappointing, though we only had around 36 hours in Bangkok, and we didn’t want to spend them on switching rooms, so we decided not to say anything. Another annoying incident, was while I was washing my hair, I realized that there was no hair conditioner in the shower (the bottle was empty, and it was our first night). That was very disheartening. So regarding the location, the hotel seems close to a lot of tourist attractions, but in reality, it isn’t. The ICON SIAM mall is right across the river, but in actual fact, it was so complicated to get there. We took a dinner cruise from the mall, and I couldn’t wear high heels with my dress, because of the long walk to the pier (about a 12 minute walk from the hotel) to get on a shuttle ferry that takes you to the other side of the Chao Praya river, and drops you off “near” the mall, and then takes another 12 minutes to get to the mall (to actually get to the pier for the cruise, we had walk through the entire mall). I think you understand how complicated it is. And the ICONSIAM is the closest attraction to the hotel. Just to give you an idea of the distances. Regarding the service at the hotel, I’m not really sure. In a few cases the service was more than outstanding, and in some instances less than mediocre. But I did give the service a 4/5 and not a 3, because of the service when it was outstanding. The restaurants in the hotel are overpriced, so take into account that you’ll be spending big bucks on a late night meal, because after 10pm, every restaurant surrounding the hotel is closed, and you’ll only have two options of restaurants inside the hotel that still have their kitchen open. I’m not sure if I’ll be back...
