This is the worst homestay/airbnb i ever stayed in my entire life. falsely accuse us for smoking in the room by the "evidence" cigarette box in the dustbin and claim us on airbnb. Booked 2 room in total. Room near the road is small, no cabinet/wardrobe to put your personal belongings. ANTS!!!! EVERYWHERE. you can't leave your food on the table for more than 10 minutes. Toilet doesn't have any hook to hang your clothes or towel, only a towel hanger. it was actually damaged. ROOMS NO VENTILATION at ALL and it smells horrible.
Room with bigger space with broken wardrobe have nasty smell. Highly likely from the furniture. It might contains formaldehyde because the smell is so strong and nasty. More over, in the pictures they posted there is a window right? GUESSS WHAT! THE WINDOW IS FACING ANOTHER BUILDING CONCRETE. NO VIEW AT ALL. UNABLE TO OPEN! NO VENTILATION AS WELL.
This is the room the owner accuse us for smoking in there. Long story short, no communication at all regarding the issue before claiming us on Airbnb. No clarification, no communication.
we strongly believe there were other intentions behind this false claim on us. Mother who served breakfast Giving attitude when we did not finish her breakfast. Ridiculous timing for breakfast 9am-9.30am. went out to buy a drink came back at 9.45am and our food is gone.
ROOMS are at 4th storey, 3rd storey onwards no railing to guard you if you were to fall. BEWARE to fall to death if you missed your steps. To be honest, their room looks a bit run down already, with one of them filled with ants. Stay at your own risk guys. you might never know you will fall to death from their un railed stairs.
Cats are cute no doubt, very cute to be honest. But like i said, stay at...
Read moreWe booked this place via Airbnb, mostly for the cats. Yes, they do have 12 cats and this place is heaven if you’re a cat lover. We loved staying here so much! The aunty made lovely breakfast for us every morning. We informed them in advance that we’re vegetarian so we got to eat stir fry and jasmine rice with a lovely mango every morning. The rooms themselves are pretty good but the only downside is that they’re on the 3rd floor and stairs are narrow, steep and high. But if you’re going with an empty suitcase like I did, you should be good. Please make use of the ferry service if you’re staying here. This is something I regret. There is a ferry behind iconsiam which will take you to most places you need to go to. The cost is 40 THB to most places. If you want to go to Chinatown, Wat Arun, Wat Pho, Grand Palace and most touristy places, I implore you to use the ferry and relax. For most shopping centers like Siam Center and MBK mall, we need to be on the Silom line and the nearest station for that is Saphan Taksin, which is a 1.5km walk away from our house. But the walk is amazing, you get to walk across the river and there’s a park. If you’re lucky you’ll run into a few cats. And there’s a restaurant called Paksika on the way that serves great Thai food (even vegetarian). There are Thai spas located a short distance from the house for massages.

Read moreWe loved our stay with Guang and their family and would stay again! The Sky room was cozy but had plenty of storage for us to unpack for a few days. The morning breakfast was delicious and they graciously asked about our dietary restrictions and accommodated us as vegetarians. The bathroom design is thoughtful and efficient. The location is great. Easy to travel by skytrain or boats to get to other places in the city. The location near IconSiam was fun as well! The facility is gorgeous and worth a look. Also if you need to grab anything, it will all be within a 10 minute walk. Last but not least, the cats are so cute and friendly. They will happily play with their favorite toys with you!
To address some of the complaints listed: It is upstairs and you’ll need to carry your own luggage. This is not listed as a hotel and you are staying with a family so it seems reasonable to me to do this.
The bathrooms are wet rooms so the shower is next to the toilet without a separate wall. It’s still plenty of space and very comfortable to use.
The living areas are tidy. again, this is a house, not a hotel. If you are looking for a commercial lobby then just stay at a hotel...
