Riva Vibe Hotel Bangkok by PCL — Hotel in Khlong Ton Sai Subdistrict

Booked the smallest room. That wasn’t available the day before check in so trip customer service helped me with an upgrade. At check in the room I got smelled of plumbing and I asked for another room. And the hotel was really nice to help me find another room. I was upgraded to a slightly bigger room. Now this is the second time I stay at this hotel in short time. The service is great. There is a coffee machine on the second floor. They service cereal, juice, and fruit (apple and oranges) every morning between 6-10. The room has a hair dryer. No fridge but you can keep your drinks cold in the fridge on the second floor. Where you will also find bottles of water and a kettle (also not in the room). A simple gym is also on the second floor. Outdoor gym on the 4th floor, just 2 bikes or cross trainer (didn’t take a closer look).I had 3 different rooms on my two stays combined. The bed is comfortable and depending on which room you book the placement of the ac changes. If you don’t like the ac blowing straight at you then don’t pick the smallest room. The beds are comfortable. And the interior is nice. Staff is service minded and will do everything to try to accommodate you. Laundry machines also on second floor. Walking distance to icon Siam. And bts. And sathon pier. 7 eleven and super markets nearby. Massage places nearby. Now the only thing to think about if you are sensitive to smells. It depends on how lucky you are. One room smelled of plumbing and I got a new room that had a faintest smell (fish sauce left out over night). The second night after cleaning the smell was even smaller. I bought an herbal inhaler to keep next to the pillow. The first time I stayed at the hotel I had the same issue. The first room had the faintest smell. And then I asked for a new room which didn’t have that problem at all. There are these tiny drain flies that are often seen in moist environments, such as near drains, sinks, or sewage systems. So probably why it smells. If you can’t stand this I recommend you book another hotel. Because all rooms I stayed in had...

A very comfortable, convenient, and affordable boutique hotel near the river and ICONSIAM. The rooms were well decorated in a style that is well above the nightly rate. Common areas were thoughtfully designed for interaction and relaxing. The target market is definitely younger travelers, but older folks can also feel comfortable. With limited space in the rooms, regular amenities such as coffee, hot pot, and a mini-fridge are not available. However, they provide fridges for guest to put things, complimentary coffee, juice, and water in a shared lounge area that also has machines for self-service laundry. Pretty clever really! ||The rooms are very small. I mean, smaller than a Paris hotel small! No closets for clothes or room for any of the above mentioned amenities, but the beds are SO comfortable. They rival even the best five star hotels. If you are traveling with a partner, you will need to dance around each other to move through the room. But these inconveniences should not deter anyone from booking in. Riva Vibe is a hip, young, social concept that works well. Congratulations to PCL for their concept here. ||We were very pleased with our 2-night stay, and I stand behind the 5-star review. The one suggestion I have is about ice. There is enough room for an ice bucket in the rooms, and a common ice machine in the same shared lounge area would be a great convenience for the guests. We like to use a lot of ice, so this was the one area of improvement we wanted to point out. But even if you need to go out and buy ice, the front desk will keep it for you in the restaurant area next to reception and you can get it any time. ||And one last point. The staff at Riva Vibe were amazing! Helpful, friendly, eager to please the customers. It just topped off a really great visit...

This hotel ticks all the boxes;

Rooms were comfortable enough for one or two persons. I initially stayed for two nights in the queen cosy on the second floor. I then extended another three nights and the cosy wasn’t available so I moved to a slightly larger room on the fourth floor.

The aircon was excellent and easily adjusted. Big screen smart TV with all the streaming services loaded.

The bed and bedding was comfortable and clean, I asked for an extra pillow which was delivered quickly.

There is a common room on the second floor where you can use a microwave, coffee machine and washing machine and dryer. There is also ample seating available. You can also access additional bottled water for your room from the kitchen. Note there are fridges available in this section for your use.

The staff were exceptional, friendly, polite and always had a welcoming smile when you entered the foyer.

The location is very good for accessing the BST and the ferry services, only a five minute walk from the hotel.

ICONSIAM is an 8 minute walk with all the restaurants and there are plenty of really good restaurants within 5 - 10 minutes walk. Cafes and convenience stores also readily available.

The price point of the hotel is correct ✅

I will definitely stay again.
