WATCH THEM MAKE YOUR DRINKS!!! For 1 staff and management are rude and disrespectful and try to rip off tourists. First of all she thought we may be too drunk to notice but we hadn't even had 1 drink so nice try! Double check your change they give you. Lady tried to charge us double for 5 games of pool, had i of not counted my change she would've gotten away with it then played dumb when we called her out on it .Then i order 2 pina coladas for 1 your drink prices are a joke and a f* Rip off ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING YOU DONT PUT ALCOHOL IN THEM!!!! 200 BAHT EACH!! 300 BAHT FOR A VODKA REDBULL. My family's lunch at Chang Club Restaurant left much to be desired. While one server stood out for friendliness, the rest displayed lethargy, contributing to an overall disappointing dining experience. The kitchen staff's performance was a letdown, particularly evident in poorly executed dishes like the French Onion Soup and lackluster Tomyum. Most of the food proved inedible, falling far short of their namesake. Shockingly, a 30% charge for Visa credit card usage surfaced during payment, an unwelcome surprise that should have been communicated upfront. This lack of transparency, combined with subpar food and inefficient service, makes our decision clear – we won't be returning to Chang Club Restaurant. You get what you pay for. It’s right in the heart of Patong, so location is good.

Some cons of staying here:

1. it has lots of young travellers that make noise - so Id say better for travellers between 18-25 yrs old
2. The general street noise and construction is very loud. I had to wear headphones with music on blast to sleep. 3) Additionally the AC kept going off through the night so it was very hard to sleep cause it was so hot.
3. My final issue was the fact that anyone could just walk into the rooms at any time. I slept with my valuables very close to me as I noticed random people stumbling in who were not staying there.

Final thoughts: Relatively authentic hostel experience, in a cool location good for group of young people who want to spend a night or 2 right in the center of Patong. Especially as you are 5 minutes away from the famous Bangla Road.
