I never write reviews, but after what happened to me last night, I feel like I have no choice. I ordered Pad Thai around 6 p.m., and by 8 p.m., I was fighting for my life.
At first, everything seemed fine. I took a few bites, but within an hour, my stomach started cramping. At first, I thought it was just a mild discomfort, but soon it turned into unbearable pain. I couldn’t sit, stand, or move without feeling like my insides were being torn apart. By 9 p.m., I was vomiting violently and couldn’t stop shaking. I felt like I was losing control of my body.
I ended up in the emergency room by 11 p.m., barely able to walk. The doctors told me that I was severely dehydrated, my body in shock from the extreme food poisoning. I was so close to organ failure they couldn’t even give me a clear answer on whether I’d make it through the night. They said I might only have a few more days to live if my body didn’t start responding to the fluids and treatment.

Pad thai was cooked really well with good char, flavor and balanced sweetness. The massaman curry was flavorful and had a decently thick consistency! I hate watery massaman but Took took did justice to it! Great ambiance as well, trendy and electric with cool graphics and neon abound. Always a bit apprehensive when eating or visiting Patong in particular but was very pleasantly surprised by Took took. Prices reasonable as well as a tourist. Highly recommend when...

The food was also good. The atmosphere was neat and tidy, gave me the sense that the food is clean. Also, it doesn’t feel like a very tourist restaurant - somewhat local and yet in a proper indoor restaurant setting. The food was served quite fast too.
Overall, I was very satisfied. However, I did pay 700 baht at the end. I ordered a Tom yum soup with noodles and a giant squid with coconut water. It was enough for me. I gave 4 stars on food only because it was slightly more expensive for a dinner in Thailand.
I would...
