I recently visited Churrasco, the South American steakhouse, and I have to say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked through the door, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home.

The menu had so much to offer that I genuinely wanted to order one of everything. In the end, I settled on a Wagyu steak, my friend also chose Wagyu, another friend went for a salmon steak, and we also had a ribeye and a sirloin. Alongside the mains, we ordered mashed potato with truffle, chips topped with parmesan and truffle, and a jacket potato with sour cream and chives. We washed it all down with two refreshing watermelon juices.

Every dish was exceptional. The mashed potato with truffle was absolutely out of this world, the fried onions were perfectly cooked, and the presentation of each plate was impressive. The peppercorn sauce was rich and full of flavour, and the accompanying pink salt added a lovely touch.

The restaurant itself has a fantastic vibe, the seating is comfortable, the space is clean, and the overall atmosphere makes you want to relax and enjoy your meal. The staff checked in regularly to make sure we were happy with everything, which really added to the experience.

So happy we found this place! They really know how to properly cook meats here. I had the large assorted beef skewer (medium rare) and it was PERFECT. My compliments to whoever prepared it. We will definitely return for a meal here if we return to Phuket in the future!

Funny story during our dinner, a British couple sat next to my partner and I. The man insisted that the only place to get a good steak is in England but had no idea how he wanted it cooked when the server asked. He had a pompous sound to his voice and kept questioning the ability of the staff to understand him, including the manager. Kept on saying “do you speak English/do you understand English” in such a rude way to multiple servers that the manager had to step in. Even made them take back his steak to recook it TWICE, all the while complaining about how his side dishes are going to get cold because of this “inconvenience.” It was such an odd thing to experience a male Karen in another country and my only regret of the night was not calling him out on it. Nobody should have to put up with this behavior especially if you’re in a foreign country. Don’t try to force your expectations on a completely different culture. Please learn some respect and common decency when traveling.
