Safari Beach Hotel — Hotel in Patong

For the money spent for this location it is nothing less than awesome. 20 second (!) walk from the beach and just next to Bangla Road less than 100 meters away. You can hear Bangla road rocking all night, but neither myself nor my wife was disturbed and slept well, so no problem there. Staff very friendly and helpful. Cleaning 🧹perfect. Restaurants, shops, laundry, massage, tour operators etc literally just around the corner. Excellent for party animals BUT also for me and my wife who are going to bed around 21.00 but want to have all the daytime fun in walking distance (actually/literally right outside the door). Highly recommended for party dwellers as well as for us older people looking for relaxation, sunbathing, swimming 🏊‍♀️ in the sea, shopping and eating etc etc. And do not miss the excellent Savoey Seafood Restaurant on the hotel’s 🏨 frontside. We stayed for one week in December 2023 with our 4 year old son in Safari Deluxe room. Safari deluxe room looks quite a bit better than their 'Contemporary Thai Deluxe' room, we compared them.|Bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned every day.|Great friendly and helpful staff from reception to cleaning personnel.|There is not breakfast in the hotel but several options around. Only downside - The hotel is right next to Bangla walking street and we could hear the music until 6am every night. But we could still sleep so we didn’t move out.|The pool looks good but has no privacy. The very large restaurant in front can completely overlook the pool. The pool area is also partly used for restaurant seating in the evening. The pool closes for use at 6pm. |The beach is just opposite the hotel on the other side of the street. The street is very busy with traffic.|Next time I would choose a different beach and not Patong Beach. I also think for kids there are...

The hotel is a really good place to stay in Patong. Very convenient for walking around the area. Just one block from bangala street and the beach.

We did not have any problems in our stay for 9 days. The room was very clean, they provide all the necessary amenities, and the housekeeping was very friendly, she organizes our personal shopping in the little fridge to keep cold and fresh.

We enjoy our beers at the pool, the staff provided ice with no extra cost. They let us enjoy our drinks and often asked if we need anything. Pool gets both sun and shade all day which is a rarity.

Patong Beach is close, clean and good for seeing the sunset.

We stayed in a safari deluxe room which was perfect and actually was a very nice room. I would stay again. (I can’t comment on the more basic rooms that other reviewers commented negatively about, but the deluxe rooms are great).
