Superton Patong Beach Parasailing — Attraction in Patong

They are a bunch of thugs and scammers. Just witnessed the dark side of Thailand yesterday. I was enjoying the sunset with my son when one of the guys tried to prank me saying that they will give a parasailing ride for 100B, and tried to make me run around another person for getting the offer. I instantly realised that this is a prank and told him that this is not appreciated as I am with my kid. On that, a group of them ganged up on me and started intimidating us. Somehow was able to get away from the situation. Horrifying experience. Would like to caution tourists to stay away from these goons on...

Deceiving individuals!! The man who agreed the rate with us for parasailing and photos disappeared right after taking the cash and us to the boat at the beach. And then a different man and a lady asked us for more money if we need photos. On explaining the situation to the guy at the beach, he talked rudely and just vanished off the beach! Though the parasailing experience was good, however couldn’t get any photos of it, which totally disappointed us. Bad reputation...
