So, I booked 3 days bed and breakfast at the XQ Hotel Pattaya. First day I went for breakfast, I'm told that despite my booking receipt stating my entitlement to breakfast, the hotel have not got the same information. They have been told I booked only have booked room only.||||I have 3 emails from Hotels.com clearly stating breakfast is included. The manager takes a photo of one but refuses to honour my booking it as her paperwork doesn't show it. ||||As a solution, she suggests I contact Hotels.com, which I do:||Despite my missive being titled 'URGENT'..they have not responded for 3 weeks ..clearly unimpressive service.||||Under proessure from me the hotel finally email and call Hotels.com and are told that the middle company (Expedia) did the final booking and they need to respond to this cock up.||||Meanwhile the XQ Hotel steadfastly refuses to honour my confirmation and demand I wait patiently for a response. On the first 2 days they have no more that 3/4 clients having breakfast, so I can't see why they refuse to accept my booking and simply dispute with Expedia/Hotels.com ||||Do you think that this an impressive way for XQ Hotel to look after guests, by prioritising their house rules instead of simply looking after the customer?||||Separate to that they failed to put out the cushions on the wooden beds by the pool, despite declaiming that this would happen at 10 am. Simple things to ensure guests can enjoy their stay at a new hotel, just not done. ||||Maybe they are not concerned as they can get a job at the next hotel, when...

To my surprise it was the worst experience i had with a booking in the last 10 years.
The lady in the reception Miss MoMo was extremely rude and there was zero hospitality. They are racist and may be because we were Indian she misbehaved with us. She was extremely rude and impolite. She was rude enough to say no rooms are available u come later and did not even offered us water or gave us a sitting arrangement as we were tired travelling from India.
There is no Iron in the room,if you request for one they will inform that only 2 irons are available in entire hotel. Our door bell rang at 7 am in the morning to collect back the steam iron. This is there hospitality and they was arrogant not to give us any complimentary water. When we questioned they gave us 2 bottles water.
If you don't want to screw your trip please avoid this property as they abuse their guests in their local language when they talk amongst themselves and mock...

Breakfast was good.||No minibar and No porter service.||||Unfortunately, the bar was closed on the day we stayed. Some noticed on hotel social media would be better (as it is one of the reason we chose to stay here).||||My compliment to night security guard (17 August 2019) who is polite and very attentive. ||||Weak point is the rest room was not functional;||- toilet tissue paper's hanging is sooo far away from toilet, not possible to use it.(see the picture)||- No place to hang towel||- No shower partition. when used the shower, the water splashed everywhere on the floor which I felt unsafe for my pregnant wife||||when I found that there was no shower partition I asked to change the room, front office lady told us every room has the same design (which is not what we saw on hotel website). We were too exhausted so we accepted it.||||Overall with the reasonable price XQpattaya is a great choice to stay in...
