“I cannot see the reason why I need to come back”
Been their to celebrate my wife BD. Here are my honest review:
Food Quality: Average, nothing special. The Seafood Risotto comes with 2 shrimps, slice octopus and 1 scallop. The taste is ok but nothing WOW. Salmon sushi is not tasty at all. Bruschetta salad is again ok, but nothing stands out considering the price I paid.
Service: I want to spend time on this topic.
Since arrival, the restaurant wasn’t that busy. I found more staff than the guest sitting in the restaurant. But until I pay my bill, none of the staff comes and check my satisfaction! Well, it is ok if you are the restaurant on the street.
As mentioned, I went to celebrate my wife BD, when I told the restaurant staff that it was my wife special occasion, they just stand still with cold face. Basically, I am suppose to inform them since the reservation time, so they can prepare. I was asked to purchase their dessert from the regular menu and they can decor the plate for me…Come on, how much it is going to cost you for one piece of cake? At least just show your hospitality!
Selection of beverage: Two selection of draft beers and two selection of the bottle. The variety is so limited. Despite they call themselves a rooftop bar.
Price: Compare with the experience I had, I would say, the price they charge is crazy high.
Ambience: There is no live entertainment; DJ, live band. Not at all. I could hear my voice clearly which is highly unlikely happened to me when I visit the rooftop place. There is clearly something wrong.
Final thought: I am going to replete once again, I cannot see the reason why I need to come back! They are plenty of choices in Pattaya that offer somewhat better quality, service and value for price paid.
PS: If you are looking for the best Bruschetta and Risotto, go to Sicily at Map Phrachan Lake.

Read moreWas a little skeptical because of the fairly recent negative reviews. But since it was near our hotel, we decided to visit on the last night of our stay in Pattaya. Turned out to be the best dinner we’ve had on the trip.
Positive - We ordered the following - Pasta Burrata, seafood risotto, baked Camembert with ribeye, avocado prawn sushi. + a Pippa’s Garden and a coke. Really quite a pricey meal but the food was great - our favourite has to be the risotto and baked Camembert with ribeye.
Service was great. They were friendly and attentive, engaging my young toddler too (it is kid friendly in case you’re wondering! Clean high chairs and kids cutlery). Staff speaks English well and we had no problem communicating. Special shoutout to Ying (I think) who always came by with a big smile.
Not so positive: the hostess at the entrance greeted us and we mentioned that we would need a high chair. However, this was not communicated to the staff upstairs. I also agree with another review that portions are pretty small for the price tag. Would love to have more of the seafood risotto. And indeed a few items on the menu were not available, what a pity!
We will definitely be back again if we visit...
Read moreWe were greeted by a friendly hostess who escorted us to what seemed to be the best seats in the restaurant. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended during our visit to PIPPA.
We ordered sushi, which was mediocre at best. I followed up with the lobster, and it was a major disappointment. The lobster was undercooked and drowned in an overly sweet sauce that completely ruined the flavor of the meat. As someone familiar with how lobster should be prepared, it was almost inedible. To make matters worse, the staff couldn’t tell me the weight of the lobster or provide the proper utensils to eat it. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the waitress, she simply smiled and walked away. Additionally, the glasses were dirty and had an unpleasant odor. My husband ordered the lamb rack, which, like the sushi, was very average.
We left feeling extremely disappointed. On our way out, a different hostess was quite unfriendly and didn’t even bother to direct us to the correct exit.
I had been recommended this place, but I would advise against wasting your money here. There are far better restaurants in Pattaya with superior...
