Holiday Inn Pattaya by IHG — Hotel in Pattaya City

I was staying over the holiday season for few days here, and have to say in general it was a very pleasure experience especially because of the Executive lounge staff.

I was a bit of let down with non existing upgrade eventhough hotel was nearly empty at least executive part. Reception staff is very polite and full of smile, but make a lot of mistakes - to that later on. As a start I asked if I can have an upgrade and I got confirmed was that I am upgraded - still I ended up in same room as ordered and paid for...

Room was very spacy and nice, modern and well equipt, there cannot be said anything wrong about it. Slept like baby and all what i needed was there.

Executive lounge - something if you are in this hotel you should have. The best feature (except very nice view) staff. I hope I do remmember correctly names as Indihar (who helped me to secure second room for my family coming to visit me); Yoko, Pattie and Monday who were amazing and always smiling, helpfull and ready to bring more vine or fulfill any wish you may get. True gems and cherry on the top of very nice breakfast and dinner selection.

Reception - as mention, very positive and nice, however so many problems and mistakes. Wanted to reserve additional room for my cousin comming in few days, it was a dissaster and went for a help from Executive lounge staff, instead of to try explain people at reception that I do not want to change room, just want additional room...

Family of my cousin family came to visit and provide passport to register - mine whole reservation and second room changed ownership to name of husband of my cousin. Which we found out when I ordered few things by the pool and added them to bill onto room; when leaving and sign the bill barman starts to chasing you as "there is no one registered under your name". Additionally when you on the end checking out - bill cannot be made as "it is registered to your colleague". Luckily all was solved later on and sent to my email, so I have it for our accountants.

Pool and bar area - very nice and relaxing at both of towers. However bar was ... tiny not very well made coctails for quite a higher price even considering happy hour (which is limited to only a few most basic conctails).

Dinning - lot of choices directly in hotel and it was very nice experience.

Since I had reservation in the special event I would say very worth it for that price.

For full price I would consider it, but in area are lot of options and some probably with much better value for your money.

Still can recommend and most likely will be back again in...

It is quite a treat to stay in a hotel that is executing their operations so perfectly throughout the facility!

Walking through the front entrance one enters an attractive, refreshing lobby. It feels brand new!

The front office staff work efficiently through the check-in processes, politely and clearly explaining all the details.

On the way to the lift you will pass the lobby bar which gives you the first glimpse of this hotels superb food and beverage operation. Right you will be tempted to stop for coffee and a baked treat.

Get off the lift and follow the corridor to your room you will begin to observe the high level of cleanliness that permeates this hotel.

The rooms with a sea view are worthwhile! In any case, you will find your room was prepared with every detail done well! The rooms are well appointed. Very importantly, the bedding is very comfortable and ready to help you rest well.

Hopefully, you’ll experience good weather but, on that rainy day, this hotel is equipped to keep you comfortable with great food, beverages, and family entertainment.

The kids will enjoy the pool and expensive kids center staffed with experts leading children’s activities. Parents rave about this amenity!

At breakfast time, you’ll enjoy a range of foods from around the world. The system for foods cooked to order is well organized. The quality and freshness of the food is evident. The restaurant area is attractive, spacious, and airy! Very comfortable!

The hotel is home to The Smokehouse, a highly rated BBQ kitchen that also makes top-of-the-line pizzas—further testament to the well-run food and beverage facets of this hotel!!

As you venture out of the hotel you’ll run into the beautiful beach on the peaceful west end. Among the beach road, you may choose from hundreds of food and entertain options.

My wife & I spent a Wonderful 10 Nights here and honestly cannot fault this hotel or the staff whatsoever. Everyone was always polite & happy and nothing was too much trouble.

We were checked in by a lovely fellow by the name of Cap who went above and beyond to help us fix an error that i didn't realise i had made until we got there about our reservation.

Secondly i would like to mention all the staff in the Executive Lounge. Indy (The Manager), Yoko, Natty, Money & Patty, (im sorry if i have forgotten anyone) were all excellent in providing guest services and making you feel welcome every single day with bubbly smiles. Again nothing was ever too much trouble and everyday during happy hour your drinks were always served & then refilled without the need to ask for another one or the need to be asked what you drank each day as they remembered from the previous day. The food in the executive club was also 5 star, especially the little cupcakes which were my wife's favourite. The view from the rooftop bar on the 25th floor is also amazing for the Sunset.

The pool area was great as well and the buffet breakfast delicious. More western dishes at breakfast might be better as it catered a lot to Indian and Muslim food groups and got a bit boring eating the same thing each day, however we also chose to eat up in the executive lounge a few times for a different choice of items which were also beautiful.

This hotel is a little way out of town however the Baht bus is available on both main roads on each end of the property so very easy to get around still. Another added bonus was that the Executive building has a 7-11 attached to it so made it easy getting anything you might need without leaving the hotel grounds.

We will definitely be back again sometime and would not hesitate to...
