The Bibimbab Seoul Grill — Restaurant in Pattaya City

Last time we came here it was actually nice food and overall a nice experience (probably because it was quite) so was happy to return yesterday, big mistake and our last visit here!!

Got in and made our order. After waiting nearly 40 minutes and 3 other customers receiving their food who had arrived and ordered after we did we decided to up and leave. As we got up and said we didn't want the food now they said our food was being prepared. The other customers who received their food before us were all Koreans, this suggests to me that Koreans will get their orders before a westerner will. Unfortunately I have been taught that it's a first come first serve basis and not preferences on ethnic backgrounds. I know for sure That I wouldn't get preferential treatment in a western establishment over aseans....

Shockingly poor...

The Bimbimbap dishes aren’t really authentic. Rice is (rice-cooker) pre-cooked then served in a warm(not sizzling hot) stone bowl. The rice does NOT stick to the bowl as the placemat (and reputable Korean joints)suggests it should.

The side dishes are sub-standard. The egg tofu being the only one you’d want to re-order. Scrawny half-assed picked cucumbers, just local ones dipped in vinegar if you ask me.

Kimchi was sourish and would be returned if I had bought it at a supermarket.

Maybe this is more for the BBQ patrons but still, the namesake and side dishes should be of a...

If I said slow service you'd get the wrong impression. It's NO SERVICE. I've been sitting here for 15 minutes and the sole waitress has totally ignored me. After I finish this review I'm leaving never to return. Follow-up: As I was leaving the waitress intercepted me and explained she was working alone and asked me to stay. I agreed and placed my order. The food was very good and satisfying, so I'm changing my food rating from 1 to 5. As to service, I advise the owner to have at least two waitpersons on duty...
