Chill House at Naiyang — Hotel in Sakhu

I arrived in this hotel before Booking and i Ask them if they prefer i Book online or with them directly , the girls here doesn't speak english so they give to me The phone Thn i text with The manager and they told me you Can Book juste online directly so i booked with agoda for 4 nights . The decoration of the hotel is beautiful but there is no people to welcoming you and the staff here don't answer when you Say hello and are not smiling at all . They never clean the room and put water or toilet paper ,.WE have one card for two and when m'y boyfriend Ask someone was here from the staff to open because i was in the room they Say no you need the card he wait 5 min behin with The girl Say no you need your card withouth open him . The toilet doesn't flow correctly , the bed is really small , the noise from the road and also inside you Heard everything but ok for 4 nights and good location from the airport . I rebooked one night online because i have my flight AT 5 pm to get a last shower, i went to looking for the staff and i finally found someone to tell them i booked i need to pay and i don't check out this morning . They give me The phone to talk with The manager by phone message and i explain that . She Ask me how much i have to pay and i Say 945 $ but maybe you Can do a little discount because i will not sleep here tonight and leave around 5 pm ? She told me yes if you Book directly with us i Say ok how much Can be ? And she reply to me but you Book already online so i can't you Can pay with my staff thanks you. No consideration to people , no commercial and just the money interesting this hotel .si I gave 1000bath and keep the rest but I said to the manager by phone I will give you a really Bad review with all of this . They knock on by door 2 min After to give me toilets paper and water . I will never Come back it's been 6 years i travelling in Thailand on homestay and local people and that the first Time i have this experience in thaïland . I love this country and thé people here and i will never Come back in...

“Overrated and Avoidable”

An overrated hotel—an experience I wouldn’t wish to repeat. Total disappointment.

First, the front desk was almost always unattended and staffed by housekeeping personnel who neither spoke nor understood English. Communication had to be done through voice notes sent to their boss via phone.

Additionally, guests were charged an extra 5% on top of the Agoda booking charges, simply because the payment was made by credit card. This hidden fee was not mentioned anywhere in the booking terms. It’s unacceptable to surprise guests with such charges upon arrival after booking and paying through the stated method.

Second, the room was never cleaned during my three-day stay. Towels were not replaced, and I had to request cleaning and fresh towels on the third day when I happened to see housekeeping staff. Since the front desk was rarely attended and there was no phone in the room, any assistance required guests to call a number displayed on a notice at the counter.

The room came with just two small bottles of drinking water, and obtaining additional water was a challenge since staff were rarely available to help. While there was a small café, it was barely functional, open only from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, offering a few juices in the fridge and limited water during those hours. After that, accessing drinking water became nearly impossible.

In short, I will never stay in this hotel again. I’m genuinely shocked by its high rating given the poor service provided. This hotel is a complete scam, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save your money and your sanity—stay...

Pros: Near to beach.||Cons: No safety deposit facilities.||||I paid for another hotel (Ideo Phuket) but on arrival at 19:00pm it turned out to be overbooked, so the guard/receptionist drove me to this hotel and I was given a partial cash refund (as this hotel was cheaper).||||I stayed in room 209 on 23-Jan-2020 for 1 night. There are no lifts.||||There is no safe in room and reception do not have safety deposit boxes.||There were no towels in the room and when I asked, I was given a single bath towel. The small bathroom window was stuck open.||||On check-in I noticed the room TV was not working and despite speaking to the receptionist nothing was done to fix it.||The air-con was not cold enough to cool the room.||There were no rubbish bins in the room, only a tiny one in the bathroom.||The wifi in the room was no good. I had to go downstairs to reception to get a signal both on check-in night and the following morning.||||The beach is about a ten minute walk. North along beach are expensive tourist restaurants. South are Thai restaurants and food stalls where I ate in the evening and also had breakfast there the following morning.||||I had an early morning stroll along the beach and saw low flying planes coming to land at the nearby airport.||||A taxis stand is near the hotel for the short trip to the airport, however they charge the minimum...
