Zab Isaan Restaurant — Restaurant in Sakhu

This restaurant was one of our favourite places to find when cycling around Phuket, killing time before flight home. It was so great we squeezed one more visit in before departing. The service was fantastic, they even offered us the chance to make a fresh sauce in the open kitchen and demonstrated how to eat their local dishes using the leaves to make rolls of fish & garnish. Let me start by saying the cashew nut stirfry is one of the best I've had in Phuket(we lived here for 3 months) My fiance had the chicken Massaman curry and it was good tasting but a little too oily for our liking. Total was 300B with 2 sides of rice.

Edit: Came here 3 times total, cashewnut stir-fry is still very tasty, but we ordered beef bqq and pork Massaman the other times, the beef & pork meat is not good quality so I would stick to chicken...

Awfull! We been there few times before - it was really good and tasty! But today.... The food was not Isaan at all, they working just for tourists now. Not spicy, not enough spices, instead of pork we were given chicken twice. If you called yourself "ISAAN" please take care about your name, but not make ordinary food with that name. Portion is very small!...
