Metro Resort Pratu Nam — Hotel in Thanon Phaya Thai Subdistrict

Old apartment building with smell of damp|The flight was late and we arrived around 8-9 pm. We booked a room with bathroom facilities inside paid 50 GBP per night, sink did not work at all. And there was no hot water in shower. When we asked to change our room, reception send someone to our room with sink plunger :) He wasted around 30 mins try to unblock the sink and running water in the shower trying to get hot water to work. Obviously none of these didn’t help.|Then “friendly reception staff “ :) offered us another room with working sink but with leaking toilet. |We took that room, and tried to have shower again but we were told that Bangkok is hot and we don’t need hot water to have a shower :)|We had cold showers and went to sleep with lovely noice from window :) |It was my first time in Bangkok and I heard that this is where service was very good.|Bangkok is a lovely city, but this hotel was hell to remember.|Please fellow travellers, weather you are on budget or not do not waste your time or money staying in this hotel. You will regret it.|I hope that management will hear me and try to improve...

We had never been to this hotel before so we asked them to sent us pictures of the rooms and such. They sent us pictures that looked great. So we booked a 5 night stay. When we arrived at the hotel the lobby looked decent so we didn't think much of it. But when we went to the rooms it was just terrible. They had sent us false pictures to trick us. My bed sheets and pillow cases had stains all over them. The bathrooms were just disgusting. The doors were broken so mosquito's kept coming in even though we closed the door. When I said broken I meant that there is a crack right down the middle. When we went to talk to them to get our money back because we won't be staying they just refused rudely. As we already realized that they were running a scam, we asked them why they had sent us the fake pictures they did not reply. They simply just stood there. I don't do reviews at all. But I just had to do it. We were totally ripped off by this hotel. I just put this up hoping that no one will get tricked like we did. There are way better hotels around. They said they were 4 stars but I don't think they even...

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Abt 12 mins walk to pratunam /plantinum and indra center. Room is spacious.|Concierge is good. You can keep your luagges. |||1. Terrible receptionist |They dont welcome you with sincerity or smile. |You can be standing at the counter for some enquiry and they can simply ignore you. |Service is really terrible. |They dont entertain to your enquiries. ||2. Housekeeping |Check the towels they change for you. |They can insist that you dirty it and fine you for it when you wouldnt even have used it. |When you request for something from the housekeeping , they will direct to receptioionst. When you go the front desk, they will diverted you back housekeeping saying different department. |You will kicked here and there. |No toothbrush provided. ||3. Breakfast is not too that standard and tasty. ||4. Terrible wifi. It is like super slow and keep logging you out. ||5. Bed is super hard. You get body aches easily. ||Regretted my stay there. Never even meet a moderate standard. ||||For the price we pay at this hotel you may source for better hotels...
