Fatih Hotel Corner — Hotel in Şişli

OK, you gotta know why I gave it five stars. It’s not the cheapest on Expedia, but you get a decent breakfast, so yes, wake up at 7 AM—well, make it 7:30 AM—because not everything is served before then. They run on Turkish time, so don’t wait until 11 AM for leftovers—yuck. The cleaning staff dude is super cool; they even gave me extra water and all the tea I could ask for. Told desk guy I was staying longer and my reservation didn’t go through because I had forgotten that i booked a different hotel, he was cool about it. With zero English around, get proficient with your Google translator. I chose to pay for a double so my room wouldn’t be so small—it had a window, but the heater was crap, so bring extra clothes in cold weather. I don’t knock a star on petty things if overall it’s worth it, and you gotta know what you’re getting. Check-in was easy—the cool staff dude even let me smoke in the lobby and hung out with me, check in was a breeze and gave me my room early But remember, always carry your valuables with you and never leave anything other than clothes...

We booked 2 nights, at first we thought it's a cosy decent place, then:||1. No one speaks English.||2. We were 2 people and we asked for 2 key cards more than 5 times (they only gave us 1), everytime they told us "ok give us 10 minutes". Staff were super lazy.||3. We entered the room, toilet was not clean and we had to clean it ourselves!||4. Last incident, i put out the sign of DO NOT DISTURB on the door, as I also told the guy verbally Do Not Clean or enter the room!! Guess what? They entered the room while we were out to clean up without our permission!||Hope they improve these points.||You still can find cheap hotels with better services. I would never...

I visited Fatih Hotel last month for the main reason that they mentioned that they have a free parking unfortunately we were so disappointed to know that the parking is so far away plus you have to pay for it !!!! When we reached there our key card didn't work and had to change it from the other hotel for some reasons anyways we got into the room which we found water on the floor , hair in the shower ,the basin and the floor. |The glasses was so disgusting I even doubt they cleaned the room before our arrival. |Attached the pictures as I exactly found it. |One point to mention that they guy ibrahim in the reception was so...
