Nis corner bistro — Restaurant in Şişli

This restaurant looks good the menu looks very good the photo of the spaghetti bolognese looked great so I decided to order. The waiters couldn't speak any English so I ordered with the manager who seemed very friendly and when my food came it was a bowl of spaghetti which was steaming hot but the bolognese was missing. Absolutely no meat sauce, unbelievable! I immediately told the manager and he took it back to the kitchen and said the chef would cook another, wait 5 minutes. The second bowl arrived and looked like the picture on the menu. I was very happy and ate my food. It was delicious and I paid and left a tip on top of the service charge as it was a great portion and delicious. I walked back to my Hotel about a 10 minute walk and I started to feel extreme pain and discomfort. My belly was so bloated I looked like a pregnant lady about ready to give birth. As soon as I was in my room I needed the toilet very quickly. For the rest of the night I stayed in bed in agony not able to sleep as I must have gone to the toilet more than 10 times. I was still in pain all the next day and after eating 3 activia probiotic yoghurts the pain is starting to ease but keep wanting the toilet. I wouldn't reccomend this restaurant, it has ruined my weekend and my experience in Istanbul. I feel like it was a racist attack. Western tourists beware!!! I thought I should add, I still have food poisoning after 5 days and cannot risk eating as it goes straight through me. I'm back home in the UK now and if I'm not feeling better by tomorrow I will have to go to...

If you’re tourist do not come here unless you’re Turkish! Over changed us and rip off!!! I dine in finniest restaurants in the world but I hate getting ripped off! They over changed it us twice for same eggs also! We have been regularly visiting restaurants around the area so we knew once he tried to rip us off thinking we are Arab Costomers tho we weren’t! 400tl was over changed!...
