Hotel Le Mirage — Hotel in Şişli

Just for information I’m traveling a lot and experienced different situations but this what’s you need to expect from this hotel: ||First: Reception - be ready that the staff don’t speak English well, okey we can understand but .. Some of the receptionist are very nice, some of them are rude. And giving u attitude because u asked them about smth. |Yes, once u call for water which is not refreshed second day in a raw they will bring it. ||Second: Room is nice, view is really cool. But once we arrived at the hotel phone was not working, one lamp next to bed is not working. On the 6th of April we woke up at 5 am because it was super wired and loud sound from ventilation which we was scared of and called reception. They said it’s totally fine. Didn’t even said sorry that we woke up. |Room card was not working every single day. ||Third: Breakfast is terrible. We came in the COVID times and understand that buffet is not allowed but what u get is dry bread, some jam, 3 pieces of cucumber, olives, some cheese and 1 boiled egg. When we ask if it’s possible To change it to omelet at least they said no. ||Good thing here was the service of: ||Executive Chef. He was very helpful and understanding that food is not okey and was bringing just coffee to the room every morning. ||And cleaning of the room is very nice. Housekeeping is 5 out of 5. ||Thank you!||In the end I want to tell you that we choose this hotel for location of our friends but I will definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone who...

I stayed here for two weeks.

The hotel Is on the smaller side but is modern and had a lot of good qualities.

The location you can not beat. You are located literally near everything. From food to shopping to museums to cafes you have everything in walking distance.

The front desk guys are awesome and very helpful. They were all so kind to me and always with a smile.

My particular room was a bit small but it was just me there so it worked. The mattress was pillow top and sooooo comfortable. The bathroom and items them provided were good.

Cleaning service came daily and were helpful offering extra towels and coffee.

The room service app provided a wide range of food options. As well as stroller rentals, soap, and all types of things delivered right to your door. (That was very convenient)

Breakfast was just ok. It was the same (salad, bread, oats, cereal and boiled eggs) but it was free so, I managed. There were two breakfast ladies who were so sweet and kind. The older one who looks like she smokes 100 cigarettes a day was just miserable (avoid her, trust me you will know her when you see her).

Their security was tight!! I had a nurse visit several times. She was scheduled for 1 hour massages. And when her time was nearing they would call me and say her time was up. Not sure what that was about. Never had to have a visitor be on a time clock at a hotel. But nevertheless….

If I return to this area I would whole heartedly use this hotel again. Good rates and over all...

The worst experience we have ever had in our travel experience. The 7th day of our stay, 1200$ total amount of cash money was stolen from our bags while we were at the breakfast in the hotel. The only one who entered the room after we left was house keeping staff. The hotel management was not helpful; just stated that we were supposed to keep the cash in the safe. It seemed that it was not the first case here regarding the stolen money. We requested police investigation; they came and talked to the hotel manager without our presence; asked just for our passports and advised to go to the police office to complain. After that, we went there by walking; without any explanation made us to wait for more than three hours in the police office. When we asked the reason being kept for so long; just said they had been waiting for hotel camera records to begin the investigation. All the police do here is to smoke and drink tea and talking. Then I realized why people are being killed, robbed, stabbed, killed easily in Turkey because they do not perform their jobs sincerely. Overall, the worst attitude from the hotel management and police towards the tourists here. Never return back to travel here. There was no apology even!!! Never carry any cash while traveling - the best...
