FAMA Karaköy — Hotel in Beyoğlu

I had the pleasure of staying at Fama Karaköy hotel in mid September this year, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I've had.

I went with my mom, it was no vehicles street but no worries we only had to walk few steps in a straight easy way after the driver dropped us.

The most amazing thing for me about the hotel was the location, it is just perfect! close to the sea and transportation, exchange office right on the main street, fish sandwiches, borek, Midyeci and other amazing famous local food restaurants are just few steps away! And close to the old city too.

Every staff member I met was friendly, attentive, and willing to assist with any request! The man who was responsible for making the breakfast (unfortunately I can't remember his name 🥺) during our stay was amazing, super nice and welcoming. All of them were loving and friendly people.

Room was a bit small that was the only thing that bothered me, but it was very clean and tidy. They cleaned it up every day. AC and Wi-Fi were excellent.

I will definitely repeat it if I get the chance to go back to Istanbul again. Sending love to the lovely team,...

I was recently traveled to Istanbul alone for a medical procedure. I originally booked an Airbnb but after spending less than 12 hrs there I had to leave. It was 2 am and I was freaking out because I didn’t know where else to go while being alone in a foreign country. Most hotels in the area didn’t have any availability. I called Fama and they were able to help me. At first I said no due to pricing but the gentleman reached back out to me through WhatsApp and helped me out. At 6am I went there to do the whole official booking. From the moment I arrived they were all very friendly. They offered to help me in any way they can knowing I had just had surgery. Housekeeping was very nice as well. The rooms nice and clean. I felt very comfortable staying there, I didn’t have to worry about anything. Even though the power went out for a few hours I didn’t mind, it did not bother me, that just shows how much of a good experience I had at the hotel. I honestly would recommend this hotel to anyone, I will definitely stay there again if I ever go back to Istanbul!!! ||Also, the location is great! Walking distance...

From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s clear that the hotel pays attention to the little details, ensuring that guests have a pleasant experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the location. The hotel is just a few minutes from public transportation, which made it so easy to explore the city and get around without any hassle. We also opted for the breakfast option, and I’m so glad we did! Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious Turkish breakfast, complete with fresh bread, cheeses, olives, and more. To top it off, the lovely lady preparing the breakfast made a homemade cake each day that was absolutely mouthwatering!
