Windrose Hostel Istanbul — Hotel in Beyoğlu

Superb 10.0 - great experience I have stayed almost one month at Windrose Hostel - wich is located in walking distance from Taksim Square and metro station 🚉 also it’s located few steps from Istiklal Street the most attractive street in Istambul I had a lot of time to buy my needs from Turkey and do my online business due to the great internet connection in the rooms lobbies and kitchen The hostel is served by the young man :Bedri who guided me very well to do many things and have a nice stay also he has a lot of hospitality The lady owner from Germany 🇩🇪 She is nice woman and tried to understand many times my situation she invited me for home made brown cake 🍰 ( so delicious ) Bedri the duty boy he works very hard to keep all the guest satisfied and keep the hotel clean 🧼 The hotel allows you to use the kitchen A lot of supermarket near by to by groceries and needs such as SOK , Carrefour .... if you are lazy to cook you can head to İstiklal to get Sweet or Authentic Turkish food or Delights If you are into shopping : Most world class brands like Zara , Addidas ,Nike have shops in İstiklal area ... If the traveler is into Fast food also you have Fast food chain in İstiklal area like KFC , Mc Donald Burger King The hostel treat the guest like a king I highly recommend this hostel for backpackers and regular travelers 🧳 Very easy access and practical location Wonderful staff Bedri is great and he has prosperous futur !! Windrose is a hidden gem! (not too easy to find first time though, so don’t give up) VERY conveniently located to subway, tourist area, buses, tourist destinations, coffee shops, laundry, convenient stores, street food vendors…. Very clean rooms as well as WC and public areas. The feeling of the place is very laid back and relaxing. I ditto the other reviews in this respect as after a long day of touring around town, I always enjoyed chilling in the evening. Of course the price gives good value! But the part of WindRose I thought was best, was the staff, particularly Tuğba. She gave me daily advice about what to do / see and how to get there. Things to watch out for / avoid, and things not to miss. Even after leaving Istanbul, she was STILL making recommendations! Tuğba is the one who sets Windrose apart from the others.

I’ll be back for a few days before leaving Turkey. I had a great time...

I spent one week in this hostel in a private room, and I had a very nice experience. The room was small but cosy and clean. - When arriving there are sheets and towel ready for you. The staff was super nice, welcoming and helpful, always ready to have a chat with you or to answer any questions. I'd say there's somehow a familiar atmosphere in the hostel. The location is very good, close of Taksim and one minute walking from Istiklal street. There are also some convenience stores and supermarkets nearby as well as many bars, cafés and shops. Hostel prices are besides very competitive.

To improve I'd say only to fix the doors of the shower screen or tu put a courtine - that's a problem of many hostels. - because when having a shower, some water comes out and the ground ends up wet. But all in all I can...
