Hotel Sultania — Hotel in Fatih

Overall: My stay at Hotel Sultania was absolutely wonderful! My mom, sister, and I flew in with three massive luggages which were taken to our room so we wouldn't have to carry them. As soon as we arrived, the receptionist sat down with us and reviewed a map of the city for about ten minutes to explain where everything was which was so helpful. We also didn't bring enough adaptors to charge our devices so they gave us a courtesy one which was so incredibly sweet. Our entire stay was the staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I'm anemic, so I get cold easily and they had no trouble giving us four blankets and providing us with plenty of tea and water. Every time we went to the lobby, even for just a little, the staff was absolutely gracious and gave us hot tea and offering anything and everything possible. The location was perfect and literally 5-8 minute walk from topkapi palace which was right next to hagia sophia. I couldn't have picked a better location honestly

Me and my mom spent an amazing week in Istanbul and I am so happy that we have chosen Hotel Sultania. As usual I checked plenty of options, but wonderful pictures and amazing reviews have convinced us to book Hotel Sultania.

We felt very warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. I had some troubles with my credit card, but the staff at the reception were very helpful, understanding, professional and helped finding an optimal solution. We also got a room upgrade during the check in and ended up in a room with a little balcony, which was a very nice surprise.

Julia, the guest experience manager is just outstanding in her role. She made sure that we had the best experience during our stay at the hotel and gave priceless advice whenever we would go out to the city. Julia's colleagues, in particular: Ahmed, Ugur, Hasan, Abbas are always there to answer any questions and create a truly home-like experience :)

The breakfast is very thought through and can easily satisfy any taste! Restaurant on the rooftop gives a breathtaking view of the Bosphorus strait, which was such a special treat! The food from the room service menu is delicious and is delivered real quick. This was a life saver when we were too tired to go eat somewhere else!

The location is just perfect for us. It is on a quiet, mostly pedestrian street. You can hear some city sounds but nothing even close to a noise. It is a walking distance to several major attractions and very close to cool little shops and restaurants. It is an amazing neighbourhood both during the day and for a late evening stroll.

The room has everything you need for a stay! The room cleaning is exceptional! Thank you, Nuran!

We will definitely visit Istanbul again, as you can only discover a fraction of this wonderful city during the short time we have spent here. And there is absolutely NO DOUBT that we will stay at Hotel...

In my opinion this is probably the best hotels in Fatih (Old city) and we are so glad that we booked it. Everything was just wonderful and the highlights include: Friendly and helpful staff who go beyond expectations to help and make your stay stress-free. The manager catered for our early check-in which was very nice of him, helped with contacting our airport transfer company, provided advise for sightseeing and made suprise arrangements for my wife's birthday (extra charge for this service and options available to suit your needs) The room was stunning and made you feel like living in a royal palace room with the decor, bed and pillows are very comfortable, lots of room facilities, good WiFi, good air-con, good shower and clean bathroom The breakfast was amazing with a variety of buffet style choices and also cooked breakfast options, like fried eggs, omelette, etc. and very nice coffee, tea options The location is excellent as it's close to Gulhane tram station. It's just off the main Street with all the shops that lead to Sirkeci/Eminonu and also surrounded by lovely restaurants serving a variety of food.

Sadly, we didn't get a chance to try their 'The Olive' Restaurant, swimming and spa facilities because of our short trip but I'm sure they are as good as everything else that we experienced at the hotel.
