We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room that we got was clean, comfortable and spacious for two person. Bathroom was clean though can be improved, hot and cold shower was working well with excellent water pressure. They provided daily housekeeping which we really appreciate and and they also have lift to make life easier. Iron was also provided upon request. Location is great, close to eateries, coffee shop, laundry and take 15-20 minutes walking to Blue Mosque (and will need you to go through the Arasta Bazar which is good if you feel like shopping or just window-shopping!) But beware the hotel is located at hilly street so you might want to consider if you're bringing big luggages and you're taking the public transport. Nearest tramvay station is Beyazit, which is around 10-15 minutes walk and you'll pass by shops, eateries, and lines of shoe-selling/manufacturing shops (I find this particularly interesting). Just to add, one of the Grand Bazar entrance is also close to Beyazit tramvay. To Lika Hotel, keep up the excellent service, hope to stay here again next time! Also will be good if you could provide free tea bags/bottled water in the room, if it's not too...
Read moreFamily owned hotel. The warmth of staff and the owner could be felt from the moment we stepped in. We didn't like the view from our room and the owner (that time we didn't know he is owner, not receptionist) gave us upgrated room with proper view. We stayed there for 2 weeks.
From outside it looks like normal local building, but from inside it's different story. Rooms look completely new, clean, like they were built week ago, with nice decorations, they gave us impression of 4 star hotel.
Hotel is small, that's fact, it's located on busy street, but it's in middle or very close to all sightseeing you want to see when you come to Istanbul. Owner and staff were cool and spoke to us as friend which was very much appreciated.
Real perk we found! Me and my girlfriend can only recommend.
Thank you Lika hotel...
Read moreBy my side, the expectations of the accomodation should be equal to the budget planned for it. The location is very close to the centre where there are the most touristic places: mosquees, Topkapi palace and then close to the other attractions. Even though the street it’s located in - quite dirty and there are plenty of cats. I appreciated a lot the service provided: friendly, kind and helpful. The AC worked perfectly. The towels had been changed daily and the rubbish had been taken. Could be cleaner - I mean the room. All in all, if you stay only for sleeping over the...
