I would highly recommend avoiding this restaurant, especially if you value honesty and respect. When we first arrived, we were greeted by a man outside the restaurant who seemed overly eager to get us inside. He promised us huge discounts and "free" tea and baklava with our meal, which sounded great at the time. However, once we were seated and finished our meal, everything he had promised quickly turned into empty words.
The guy outside, who initially appeared friendly, turned out to be the most fake and manipulative person we've encountered. Instead of honoring his promises, he aggressively started pressuring us to leave a Google review before we could even get the "free" baklava. And it didn’t stop there—he asked my friend (a girl) for her phone to write the review himself It was beyond uncomfortable and felt more like a scam than a dining experience.
To top it off, the food was decent but definitely not worth the high prices, especially given the shady tactics used to lure us in. The whole experience felt like a setup, with the staff more focused on getting fake reviews than actually providing good service. It’s clear that they’re more interested in tricking customers into leaving glowing reviews than offering a genuine, enjoyable meal.
I would never recommend this place to anyone. The false promises, forced reviews, and downright deceitful behavior make it a huge turn-off. There are plenty of other restaurants around that don’t rely on underhanded tactics to...
Read moreThe food was not bad (except the Künefe dessert was without taste and very dry) and also two of the waiters were super friendly and engaged. Nothing to complain about at all. However, it was fairly expensive and the third waiter (who by the way forgot our ordered starter but harshly insisted that we did not order it, which of course we did) complained about our 10% tip. Unfortunately, my sister gave in and increased the tip to almost 20%. Was there a thank you or nice goodbye? Nothing as such. As we were leaving the restaurant, the guy who lured us into the restaurant made a few very inappropriate comments to my sister. „Give me your WhatsApp, I want to marry you.“ We both smiled and said thank you and goodbye. He did not give up and blocked our way. Then he added „I want to marry your sister and if you have, your other sister too. You little brother go away.“ We left without saying a word. This really happened to us. It’s only our experience that I want to share here. So, we spent a lot of money in this restaurant with a decent tip. Once they’ve filled their pockets with your money, SOME of their employees treat you like trash. Think twice before you spend your...
Read moreWell located restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Visited here for lunch and the food was nicely presented and also delicious. Prices are somewhat on the high side compared to other restaurants but the quality was proportionate. We were invited to the restaurant saying free tea and baklava are included in the meals.
The staff was okay but the reason for the 2 stars is the guy at the entrance trying to lure customers. He was very intimidating from the start which is not a problem. But then at the end of our meals when it was time for the baklava, the free baklava turned into asking for Google reviews (which I would have reviewed anyways) before getting it. The annoying part was he asked for my friend’s (a girl) phone to put the review himself and asked my other friend to change the review score from 4 to 5 stars. While many restaurants have asked me to give them a review time to time during travelling, I’ve never been this forced to put a review. Therefore I would not recommend this restaurant as they are more concerned about getting reviews to attract customers rather than customers themselves...
