Meg Hotel — Hotel in Fatih

This is an amazing hotel in the heart of old city of Istanbul. Very walkable and close to Istanbul landmarks including the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque 15 away. Even if you want to walk to Karaköy towards the Galata Tower it may be less than 40 mins depending on your pace. Check In process was quick and easy, although our Uber driver dumped us far from the hotel which was the Uber Drivers fault! Staff was very accommodating including the bellman who helped me get my luggage up and down to the car. The Bellman also helped me get a toothbrush and ice right away while I had breakfast, which I was very thankful for this. The Bellman worked really hard accommodating us. Front staff was very helpful with giving recommendations around the area where we can visit and eat especially where we can buy beer! Yes we can't get enough with beer. The rooms were very comfortable and clean housekeeping cleans and replenish very well. Breakfast was hot and fresh serving different varieties. A true gem in Istanbul! The service is outstanding – the staff are not only friendly, but also incredibly attentive and genuinely caring. They respond to individual requests quickly and even go the extra mile to provide things that weren’t expected. It’s far beyond what’s necessary – but it creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The rooms are nice, spotlessly clean, and exactly as shown online – the pictures on the internet are an real reflection of what you get, which is rare these days. No unpleasant surprises here. For what’s offered, the price is more than fair! The location is excellent: just a 10-minute walk to Sultanahmet, easy way, Metro Even nearer, yet tucked away on a quiet side street, with a tram stop just around the corner – perfect for both exploring and relaxing. My wife and I stayed at this hotel from the 23/3/25 to 30/3/25 .The rooms were very clean and cleaned daily toping up any shortages of tea ,coffee complementary on hotel . Bed sheets changed and clean towels . Breakfast was great every day we went down stairs to the lobby were we greeted pleasantly and helped ourselves to as much as we wanted and they also offered to make any special type of eggs you wanted . The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful with local knowledge and even telling us how to get about using the trams . They spent over an hour to help us book a flight to Cyprus and made sure we booked correctly. My wife and I were extremely impressed and happy to stay in this small hotel with staff that had the time of day for you to help with all our needs .
