Mira Apart Kumkapı — Hotel in Fatih

We were only in the restaurant part of the apartmant. The waiter didn't know what they have in the menu exactly and after we realized that they don't have kitchen at all. So the waiter grabbed the foods from around the area. In the end he wanted to fool us and get more money than the price were in the menu as delivery fee. I don't think it should be payed by the guests. The foods were cold and tasteless the sisha tasted like carbon cube and everything was really expensive. One memeber of our group wanted to eat bolognai and he received a mini portion of pasta with ketchup (190 TL) nothing else on it. We sent it back but the waiter wanted us to pay it. He didnt know in English very well. Finally I told him our problems and he was jerk, ironic, phlegm ,and critizied our nationality.

Today we ordered Turkish breakfast for 800 (!!!) liras here. Looking at the picture we expected to at least get numerous plates with different little dishes, let alone the taste. What we’ve got was far from what was in that picture, it was a lot less and simple. Also the quality of the products was doubtful, especially the cheese (only god knows the age of it…). There is no kitchen in this cafe. The waiter/cook/cashier (they are all one person) was acting kinda strange, he turned on the news on the TV and started to tell us what happened there (a murder) right while we were eating… I’m deeply shocked by this scam and very disappointed. The worst cafe experience ever. At least we didn’t get food poisoning (yet)....

If you want to be in the old town and close to blue mosque and most of the attractions then this is the place to be. If you are more into party scene then go to Taksim. Hotels are mostly very similar but the lady who runs this was very nice and helpful. Not too expensive but make sure you have agreed price either via a booking website or contact directly and get a deal. There is 3 rooms in total with 1 on each floor. Sleeps 6 in each floor except 3rd which only sleeps 4. Only 1 toilet per room and it is rather small except at the top floor which is much bigger. We hired the whole place and for each of us it cost around 45 euros per night. We used all 3 rooms hence why it...
