Miro Mansion — Hotel in Fatih

Please, see pictures and description below before booking a place in Miro Mansion Hotel.

It is a recently renovated hotel but in a very bad location in Sultanahmet, Istanbul. Streets are dirty (full of rubbish) and very lonely after 6 pm, and before that the streets nearby are full of men workers as there are many shoe factories in the area. As women, they stare at you in an uncomfortable and negative-vibe way. We did not feel safe at all so decided to change to another location the day after we arrived. The attitude from the hotel manager/owner was upsetting. When we told him about the problem, he cancelled our reservation through the Booking app for “No show” so he could charged us for the whole reservation amount before we could communicate with Booking client support to let them know the situation. He just wanted to take our money and did not care for anything else.

At this moment, I would definitely not recommend to stay in Miro...

We booked mentioned hotel in 20-24 march ,according trip advisor score it has 4.5 and we were sure that hotel will be fine but in fact we had a worst experience . They accommodate us in cellar , main door of our room was not closing and suspicious people where standing and watching through window .smell of dampness was in whole room . we asked staff to change room with additional charge but they refused that they do not have room on upper floor but when we checked again in booking com free room were available. Staff was unhelpful ,they even do not try to help and solve this case .As staff didn't helped we were forced to change hotel by ourselves as overnight there was impossible and not safe . |we asked to return money but they declined request ,photos in booking com is totally different what is reality is .|I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMEND THIS HOTEL...

The room was not for me tbh as it had to much light coming in and no telephone I lkke to shower late at night which no hot water after midnight and outside not very pleasant but not dangerous as its full of shoe workers, I was let down by the staff on last day,with the taxi and help,offered. the towels was not changed everyday unless left on floor anc no top up of water or toilet paper just 1 roll,and turkeys t paper is nott like uk,its ends quick. I could hear the people upstairs and coming down the stairs,they pass our rooms and some speak loud.... If my room was difrant it would of all been the same except i would of had seas view instead of a old wall The outside very steep hill towards bazaar and very convienaint tram is a hard climb and im 48years old fit man This hotel is defo suitable for young couples,not for overwight or old or...
