We stayed in this property room 203 on 8 September 2022 for what was supposed to be 2 nights. When we checked in we already had some problem communicating because the reception doesn’t really speak English. ||||The nightmare started in the evening when we got back to our room, I stepped on a needle-shape stone found on the carpet. ||||Then we filled up the jacuzzi water and started the massage jet. In less than 5 minutes, the jet stopped working and the side of the tub exploded! We had a whole flood in the bathroom (see videos below)||||The night shift guys came and cleaned the water and sprayed some kind of glue which stinks like some kind of poison ☠️ to the broken pipe. ||||The whole night the smell haunted us…||In the morning, we met the staff/manager at the breakfast but they didn’t even come to ask anything about the tub at all. While having breakfast right next to us lol||||After breakfast we went downstairs to ask if there is anything they can do to make up for the experience of the tub. The reception lady’s English is bad but her attitude is the WORST! She said all they can do is give us 1/4 of our money back and “they’re gonna call someone to fix it” after going back and forth. The owner is here.||||He acted very nice in the beginning, until I told him we want full refund for the night. He refused and used the “ I don’t speak English” card and told us he’ll give us a full refund but get the f out of his place 😬 after we were willing to meet half way if he was willing to compensate for the first night. ||||And now I’m reading the reviews of this property, I realised the bad smell which a lot of reviews mentioned about the jacuzzi is the GLUE SPRAY! I’m no FBI but I’m pretty sure that “ we’ll call someone to fix it” has been a lie for whatever how old this hotel is! ||They never fixed it properly, we just happened to be unlucky enough to witness the whole process of the broken pipe! ||||Ultimately, we wouldn’t have minded if there was even a shred of accountability, care, and consideration for this issue. ||||What was surprising was the complete lack of shame from the owner to the point where he even told me feel free to leave a bad review. ||||So here I am, “My friend” (which he kept using). At that price you have 20 dinners in the majority of the restaurants .||I asked for transport which was done for 10€, the double of any shuttle price . I asked to book me a trip in balloon since I was arriving at 4am. They didn't so I run the morning until 6am to find s place on a ballon for me and it didn't work. Came back to the hotel tired and standing up since 24h without sleeping. They told me they would not give me a room, because they where full.2 couples left at 1030 and 11, but the room became available only at 1245. All this time sitting in their bedroom / reception . I was with my mask, they don't. They forgot to clean the room 2/4 days. Once I came to ask why, they smilled and said maybe tomorrow. No excuse, no water, the, sugar nothing. I left on the floor 2 piece of biscuits the first day. The last day they where still on the floor. In the room no place to empty you luggage . No bin trash. The breakfast was good, but not the price 20€. At that price you get two dinner in any restaurant. The king girl at reception, if you don't understand her English, she repeats at you like if you are the one not able to speak English . The point is these are not professionals of hotel service. Read moreI stayed 10 days. Am a frequent traveller and very particular about cleanliness. Cakiltasi was so clean, comfortable n central with a 5 mins walk to the town centre. I walked at night and always felt safe. The breakfast is such an amazing spread. Something for everyone, with nice local surprises served sometimes. Amazing selection of fruit, honey with the comb, all served with so much love and care by the staff. ||I had the best omelette. Having this amazing breakfast kept me for the day. The views of the balloons from the terrace is excellent, they come soo close flying over yr head. Simply breathtaking||||Definately the stars is the amazing staff, every one of them, with a smile on their faces. They turn this hotel into a beautiful cosy Home admosphere. The Owner Bahri, is a Gem and you can see his taking so much care in his hotel, nothing is too much trouble. One day I told him I loved a certain Turkish dish and he brought me some from his home What an amazing team, I wish guests would show appreciation to the staff by leaving a little gratuity as they all work tirelessly with big big smiles.
