The main reason this hotel has 3.8 out of 5 stars on Google is because you can't fault the location section, so it averages the score with the many 1 stars from other sections. I will try posting a few pics of the reality and only post here what I didn't write in the other sections. Generally dirty hotel and room. I am sure that when it was built or refurbished it looked great, just like the pics on Google, but sadly, i can tell all repairs and maintenance are done on the cheap. Wallpaper peeling of the wall, grout missing from a lot of tiles, cracked tiles, smears and stairs everywhere, entire shower enclosure and basin tap hystoricaly stained and discoloured. Found a black mark on my pillow case when I turned it over and also a long black hair (I have light hair myself and very short, so not mine). Swimming pool water, pretty dirty. The hamam spa they have is pretty deceiving also. Their ad says 900 lira for the service I wanted, however when I said I want to pay by card they said they have to add another 100. Also they flash a couple of younger, half decent looking women in the lobby, and to my surprise, I was bathed by a skinny Turkish man and my masseuse was a large Russian lady that looked in her early 50s. Lastly a young kid that looked 17-18 that works there, came twice in the dry sauna in the space of 5 minutes and chucked a lot of water on the coal which clearly didn't need it as it was very hot already. Surely that bucket and spoon is there for the clients to use at their discretion. When I said why is he throwing so much water he arrogantly answered "it's very good for you", almost like he assumed turkey is the only country that has saunas and know how to regulate the temperature. Please read the other sections I commented bellow and hopefully I can add some pics of...
Read moreIf you get your teeth done by MagicTouch, this is 1 of the 2 hotels they put you up in for the duration of your treatment. Great little hotel on the beach front with amazing views of the ses and mountains. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops all within a short walking distance and Old Town Bazaar is only a short taxi ride away where there are lots of places for clothes shopping and even more restaurants and bars. If staying here, I highly recommend eating at a restaurant called the Riviera which is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel that serves great food. The staff are really helpful and super friendly (night and day compared to where we started the week off in Side, absolute dump) the guy on reception he couldn't do enough for us from recommending restaurants and letting us know what there was to do in the surrounding area. He even found where I could find a huge variety of honey in Antalya which made my holiday being a beekeeper. The lady who cooked our breakfast every morning was always happy and greeted us with a huge smile and made the best omelettes and fried eggs, sorry we didn't get to say goodbye and thank her as she wasn't working on our last day but thankyou from both of us. ||Can't wait to return next year and see you all again it was a pleasure...
