Let me start this by saying "Amazing place and Awesome staff", This place is like golden egg. All important tourist attractions are near by mostly walking distance, only Ephesus is bit far but main bus stop is on 5 min walk and from there you can take bus to Ephesus. Bus for Ephesus leaves on every 30 min from main bus stop and this will cost you less than 10 lira. Now Ill come to the staff, owner and other staff members are very friendly they are always ready to help you out with whatever query you have. At the time of check in owner sat with us and told us all the major tourist attraction and how and what time we should visit them. Breakfast is amazing here, bit expensive if its not added in your stay but its must have, and of course tea and coffee is free of cost you can have it as much as you want. My favourite was apple tea.

Worst experience. If you stay here, you have to walk a long way to check in and eat breakfast in a separate place. At our first night here, the door handle fell off at night. We had to escape through the WINDOW ! They did nothing and just told us to wait for the technician to come. It was 10 p.m., we waited in the locked room for the technician. The wifi DOES NOT WORK. The towel rack in the bathroom falls off randomly and the shower is rusty. Very embarrassing. There are a lot of bugs inside and outside the room and the yard smells bad because of rotten fruit. If you want to leave a good memory, I would never recommend this place. The first photo shows the doorknob that has fallen off, and the second photo shows the neglected yard.

We loved our stay here at Livia. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. We were greeted with a welcome drink and snacks while we chilled at the patio outside our room. The snacks were super 👍🏼 Breakfast was a whole buffet spread right at our table! We were clearly very spoiled! Everything was handmade/homemade! We even tried to cancel our hotel in Izmir to stay another night but we couldn’t. If you are thinking of whether to stay one or two nights here, try 2! Hotel location was really convenient too as you could walk to some places nearby. The museum is less than a 5min walk as well.

This is as short and to the point as I can make it:

Livia is a magical bed and breakfast! The hosts are the most kind and welcoming, the environment they've created is the best in town. Everything is new, with beautiful contemporary Turkish decor. The showers are luxurious, huge, and properly partitioned, the AC is fully functional, the beds are the best we've slept in so far, and the minibar is fully stocked. If you're a westerner, this is equivalent to a 4-5 star hotel.

You will be very pleased with the amenities and their hospitality. The breakfast they make here is one of the best I've experienced in Turkey so far - everything was homemade and organic. The bakery next door came over and the host gave us pastries on top of the huge mezze of dishes. The location is hidden from main streets, so finding this secret gem made it even more satisfying!

AND, they have a kaplumba roaming the property!! (My favorite Turkish word is Kaplumba). I wish them the most success and will stay here again in the future trips to Ephesus Selçuk,...

Our family stayed with us for two nights in June. Several things struck me about the hotel, including its kind, happy, and well-mannered employees. They were all more than accommodating, and the service was top-notch. ||||My favorite aspect of this establishment is that it provides high school interns with an opportunity to gain experience in the tourism and hotel industries through training internships. ||||The hotel is also conveniently located near a number of wonderful restaurants and historical sites.||||The service was excellent and the room was spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and there was always a sense of calm when you walked in. There are shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and other essentials waiting in the bathroom for you to use. A delicious breakfast is provided as part of the complimentary service. There was also a variety of homemade jams, olives, cheeses, fresh local products, olive oil, and omelets available, all of which were...

I was fortunate enough to find rooms available at this hotel. This was the best hotel I stayed at during my vacations in Turkey and that includes the Ritz Carlton in Istanbul. I suppose this hotel is impossible to book during high season. It is that good. The hospitality was above and beyond what I could imagine. One example: I asked if there was a pharmacy open to buy a certain medication. A few minutes later they were knocking at the door and bringing the medication without me asking for it.

The attention to detail reaches artistic details. From the breakfast to the decorations of the rooms (which includes works of art students). We stayed at two different rooms: Poseidon and the Artemis honeymoon suite which includes a jacuzzi (yep, you read right). And both are decorated according to their name. I also found ironic that Artemis is assigned to the honeymoon suite. So clever!

If I go back to Ephesus I’ll make sure to book this well in advance to make sure I...
