Eski Ev Restaurant (Old House) — Restaurant in Selçuk

Not sure about why the reviews are high but a telltale sign was that as we walked around Secuk, we saw many locals eating, while when we stopped in front of this restaurant, there were only tourists. We ordered Manti and chicken curry and neither came close to what we had had in prior restaurants in Turkey. Food took a long time to come out and even a simple request for ketchup went unfulfilled. Had a dinner at this place while was visiting Ephesus. Found it totally random, just by walking at the streets of Selçuk city center. Lovely experience here! I am allergic to gluten and tomatoes, and am vegetarian. The chef made something special just for me and it was delicious! The staff were exceptionally friendly and generous.
