Whether you're staying at the resort or visiting for its attractions, Atlantis, The Palm promises an experience like no other.
Architectural Masterpiece Atlantis, The Palm is an architectural wonder, designed to resemble the mythical lost city of Atlantis. Its grand structure features towering arches, arabesque patterns, and coral-inspired motifs, which give it a distinctive and regal look. As you approach the resort, the imposing façade set against the turquoise waters of the Arabian Gulf is truly awe-inspiring. At night, the resort is beautifully illuminated, creating a magical sight that can be seen from across the Palm Jumeirah.
The interior of the hotel is equally breathtaking, with its grand lobby adorned with towering columns, intricate mosaics, and aquatic-themed decor. The stunning Dale Chihuly glass sculpture in the lobby is a masterpiece in itself, adding to the overall opulence of the space. Throughout the resort, the design reflects the underwater theme, with hints of ancient mythology and modern luxury blending seamlessly.
Luxurious Accommodation Atlantis, The Palm offers a wide range of luxurious accommodation options, from elegantly designed rooms to opulent suites. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with views of either the Arabian Gulf or the iconic Palm Island. Each room is tastefully decorated with modern furnishings, but it’s the underwater-themed suites that truly stand out.
One of the highlights is the Underwater Suites, where guests can sleep with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views into the resort’s marine habitat. Imagine waking up to a mesmerizing underwater world, where exotic marine creatures like sharks and rays glide past your window. It’s an experience that is both unique and enchanting, making these suites one of the most sought-after accommodations in Dubai.
Aquaventure Waterpark and The Lost Chambers Aquarium Atlantis, The Palm is home to Aquaventure Waterpark, one of the largest and most thrilling waterparks in the world. Spread across 42 acres, Aquaventure offers a variety of adrenaline-pumping rides and attractions for all ages. The Leap of Faith, a near-vertical drop that plunges riders through a transparent tunnel surrounded by sharks and rays, is a favorite for thrill-seekers. There are also more relaxed attractions, like the Lazy River and the Aquaconda, the world’s largest waterslide.
For those who prefer marine life over water rides, The Lost Chambers Aquarium is a must-visit. This aquarium is designed to look like the ruins of Atlantis, complete with sunken artifacts and mystical decor. It houses over 65,000 marine animals, offering visitors the chance to explore its 21 exhibits and get up close with creatures like jellyfish, seahorses, and colorful tropical fish. The aquarium also offers interactive experiences like the Aquatrek, where you can walk underwater among marine life, and opportunities to snorkel or dive in the Ambassador Lagoon.

The resort is home to some of the most famous chefs and culinary brands in the world, offering a range of dining experiences from casual bites to fine dining.

Read moreI stayed in Atlantis the Palm from the 3rd-8th of Oct and had a mixed feeling about the stay. The hotel definitely has many amenities no doubt but the Front Desk is very Rude . There is lack of culture and basic hospitality Etiquette . The Front Desk can at the least be Polite and professional. The check-in process was horrible . This is not the first time though that I had faced RUDE front desk attendants here. Let’s talk about this time first. As there was no option on the website to pay at the hotel , I had made full payment for the room well in advance. Upon my arrival I was attended by one Mr. Arun who not asked or request but almost demanded a deposit of AED 2500 and said this is THE POLICY and you HAVE TO make this deposit. Mr. Arun further went on to say that I will NOT BE ALLOWED TO Check-in if I did not pay the deposit which is been demanded, for a booking which I had PAID FULL IN ADVANCE. He further added that everyone who comes pays the deposit and now and then he gets one or two guests who seem to make a fuss about this . Well the deposit wasn’t that much of a problem but the way it was demanded was , the way I was spoken to seemed unnecessarily rude and absolutely in an uncultured manner ,which in my opinion could have been very easily handled in a much professional and cultured manner. I felt HARASSED and INSULTED with this kind of behavior and I asked him well if it’s a policy to show where it’s written to which he had no answer but to say “it was the management’s instruction”. This was not all there was more insult waiting .To cut the unpleasant conversation short I agreed to pay a deposit of AED500 as a token and in spite of this the mini bar of the room we were allotted was locked out !!Can you believe this ….ITS SO RUDE THAT IT IS ALMOST HILLARIOUS …I mean what were we going to do - run away with your mini bar ??????????? My question here to the Atlantis management is - are you asking your front desk to be purposely Rude? Why do they talk and behave like frustrated Debt Collectors to the guests when they are checking in ? Is this the kind of verbiage the Atlantis management has asked their mere employees to use while communicating with guests ??Do you not think that there is a much civilized and courteous way of communication. Per my opinion this approach doesn’t seem very Cultured . What are you guys so afraid off ? While checking out are your guests going to run away carrying your property in their luggage? The behavior is so pathetic that it feels like a joke !! Last time – Jan 2020 during the check-in the concerned attendant not only tried to charge the room tariff but almost the equal amount in advance for food spend . To my luck when travelling I always carry 2 cards one for hotel expense and the other for other expenses. The card I had given him to charge for the room declined as the front desk attendant tried to OVER charge it without my knowledge. When the card declined, he loudly proclaimed to me that “Your card has declined” which wasn’t very pleasant as there were other guests check-in in as well. When I asked him why did it decline as I was certain it had enough amount and some for the payment to go through, then he said he had tried to charge extra for Food expense, and that too without my knowledge or consent. Imagine someone trying to charge your card for an amount without your knowledge/consent!! This was the first time I had experienced an institution in the hospitality industry behave in such a NASTY manner. This to me did not seem like a very CULTURED approach either!! They are so full of themselves that they were not even aware that I was a returning guest and made me subject to such nasty, low, uncultured and pathetic...
Read moreLike the web page states Atlantis The Palm enchants many with its captivating atmosphere and impeccable service, ensuring a stay filled with personalized touches. Despite its praised location and extensive offerings, including a waterpark and diverse dining options, guests have called out the steep prices and additional charges, questioning the overall value. The above two paragraphs capture the entire stay at this hotel and the only thing to add would be the details: Arrival and Check-In From the moment we arrived at Atlantis, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. .There was one minor item though that they left out, which I will put down to an arrival time of 2am, and that is the Subsidies - although we had paid for half board (breakfast and dinner) there is a Subsidy to sit in a restaurant , now these can vary depending on the restaurant but can be very pricey indeed.
Accommodation We stayed in an Ocean King Room, which offered breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and furnished with luxurious amenities. Comfortable bed etc. The housekeeping staff did an outstanding job maintaining the room, ensuring it was spotless every day. They even left thoughtful touches, like creatively arranged towels and occasional sweet treats, which made us feel truly pampered. A huge thank you to Ismael on the 13th floor who went out of his way to help us with any questions and needs and his team especially Almaen.
Dining Atlantis, The Palm boasts an impressive array of dining options, and we were eager to try as many as possible. The breakfast buffet at Saffron was a daily highlight, offering a vast selection of international dishes that catered to all tastes. The staff here were incredibly attentive, ensuring our coffee cups were always full and that we had everything we needed. A special mention to the manager Vineeth Raj Panchamy and Ida who made out staff even more welcoming and remembered our names every time we used the restaurant. Its very hard to pick another restaurant after the quality of staff and food here.
We also dined at Seafire Steak House, which delivered unforgettable culinary experiences. Here the staff's knowledge (Shout out to 'K' who was our waiter) of the menu and their recommendations were invaluable, Kids loved picking out our steak knives.
Activities and Facilities One of the standout features of Atlantis, The Palm is its extensive range of activities and facilities. We spent a considerable amount of time at Aquaventure Waterpark, which was thrilling and well-maintained. The lifeguards and park staff were vigilant, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. We also swam with the Dolphins which was one of my bucket list items. They really are looked after and our dolphin trainer showed how much she knew and cared about the dolphins.
Customer Service Throughout our stay, the customer service at Atlantis was exceptional. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable. From the concierge who helped us plan our daily activities to the waitstaff who remembered our preferences, every interaction was marked by a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
Conclusion Our week-long stay at Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai was a luxurious and unforgettable experience. The stunning location, world-class amenities, and diverse dining options were all enhanced by the exceptional staff who made us feel welcome and valued. Their dedication to excellence and attention to detail truly set this resort apart. We left with wonderful memories and we will return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a blend of adventure, relaxation, and...
