New Nobu Review:
I don’t recommend this new Nobu spot in the old Atlantis. The only positive experience worth highlighting are the hostesses. They were very nice.
The food was extremely average. We ordered the Omakase and it was a very underwhelming meal. You are better off ordering what you want specifically versus leaving it up to the restaurant to serve you what they want. The rice of the nigiri was dry, the fish didn’t taste fresh, the rock shrimp seemed like it came from a frozen microwaveable meal. The only dish that was barely ok were the tuna mini tacos
The service was truly awful. Our waiter was angry. I don’t know why. She wasn’t in the mood to work or serve us. Maybe she was overwhelmed but that’s the restaurant’s problem and not ours since I paid 1,000 AED for my meal. I’m not sure if she forgot my drink but I had to remind her a couple of times and it finally came. I got so tired of waiting for cocktails that I moved on to beers since that was meant to be faster. However they messed up the beer as well and brought it room temperature.
I ordered four pieces of Otoro nigiri and those never came.
What also put me off was the yelling of “irasshaimase”. That’s something you do at a casual restaurant, not at a Nobu. You don’t don’t hear that tackiness at the Nobus in NYC. Really tasteless of the General Manager to approve that.
Anyway, I don’t recommend anyone going to this new Nobu at the old Atlantis. Im excited to try the Nobu by the Beach. My friends who went to the inauguration ceremonies a couple of weeks ago told me the food and service was superb.

Old Nobu Review:
This time my gorgeous date 😍😍😍 and I sat outside in the back of the restaurant. The weather was perfect. The team cannot guarantee a table outdoors but they’ll try their best. We got lucky for sure. Before going into the food, I wanted to thank Thilina for his warm service and thoughtfulness. He made the experience great!
Food wise we ordered plenty. Spicy edamame (my better half is addicted to it ♥️♥️♥️), the ceviche which came with a nice side of gazpacho, the salmon tartar was fresh, plenty of nigiri. The fatty tuna was truly fatty tuna, places even like Zuma don’t give you true otoro and you call tell by the color of the fish. The fresh water eel was superb. The maki rolls are also great! Very important, don’t forget to order the crispy rice with spicy salmon or king grab. Order a bit if ponzu and try it with that sauce. We also had the lettuce with miso cod... wow! Even better than the regular piece of miso cod.
Throughout the dinner we had plenty of drinks. The lychee martini is solid, same for their spicy margaritas, and I liked their mojito.
We never leave space for dessert, but hopefully one day we’ll try the mochi ☺️☺️☺️

Old Nobu Review:
Nobu Dubái is just as fantastic as any other Nobu around the world. The dishes are all superb. The crunchy rice with yellowtail and salmon are delicious. The texture of it’s amazing. The salmon tartar is really good. Their classic Miso Cod is yummmm!

Old Nobu Review:
Normally two people would share one, but order one each 🤤🤤🤤 The wine list is solid and the cocktails are really good as well. We love Nobu! My beautiful date has also been to a few around the world and she loved this one very much too. Can’t wait for the terrace to be open in a few weeks!...
Read moreUnderwhelming to say the least sadly. Ive had the privilege of eating here when it first opened in Dubai, and in Hawaii. Sadly this avatar of Nobu seems catered to mass dining of fine food in a canteen atmosphere where the food is not as good as it used to be.
The place was noisy to say the least. Families with children were seated all over with iPads blaring kids’ content. Not an issue generally but we were informed while booking that after 8 or 9 there would be a lounge atmosphere with no children allowed in the restaurant. This wasn’t what we experienced.
We were seated for a romantic dinner practically in a space that had a leaking roof. And then in between two couples inches away from us. I was assured a table with a view for the birthday occasion. No matter. At least the food would be good.
All this aside, the tasting menu was hugely filling but only a couple of dishes stood out. The sushi was hands down the best thing about this tasting menu and the wagyu tacos so unimpressive, I can’t imagine why it’s at this restaurant. The yellowfin sushi was super. The rock shrimp was underwhelming and the wagyu beef mushroom soup was delicious and hearty but hugely over-citrused. The black cod was good but not as buttery as I remember it with the flakes of fish tasting rubbery in the mouth. Loved the mochi. I wouldn’t come back for the food.
Another service quibble was that I confirmed a specific tasting menu with my booking. However at the table I was told that it wouldn’t be possible to offer me this and I had to have a discussion with my very helpful and courteous server about alternatives and how much it would cost. Not the best look in front of my wife whom I was surprising for her birthday. I would recommend alerting the customer beforehand that this isn’t possible when I confirmed the booking. If the restaurant is so punctilious about confirming my booking with a no show fee stipulated, it should be able to tell me before I arrive that my booking preference has changed.
All in all my wife and I managed to enjoy the evening but Nobu has a way to go before it reaches its original food supremacy. Sadly...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Nobu Dubai and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere captivated me. The vibrant crowd, the elegant ambience, and the fantastic DJ created the perfect setting for a memorable dinner date.
What truly stood out to me were the mocktails. As a non-alcoholic drink lover, I often struggle to find unique and exciting options. However, the mocktails at Nobu Dubai were simply amazing. The mixologists crafted some truly delightful creations that were bursting with flavor and creativity. Each sip was a delightful surprise, and I found myself eagerly trying every single one on the menu.
The service at Nobu Dubai was impeccable. The staff were attentive, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. They were happy to recommend dishes, offer suggestions, and accommodate any dietary restrictions. Their warmth and professionalism truly made the dining experience even more enjoyable.
Located within the iconic Atlantis Palm, the restaurant has a breathtaking view of the Dubai skyline and the beautiful water surroundings. It adds an extra element of grandeur to the already impressive ambiance. The combination of the stunning views, the contemporary decor, and the soft lighting created an intimate and romantic setting that set the stage for an unforgettable evening.
To top it all off, the music played by the DJ was phenomenal. The beats were lively, adding an energetic vibe to the air. The music selection perfectly complemented the overall ambiance and created a lively and upbeat atmosphere.
In conclusion, Nobu Dubai exceeded my expectations in every way. The mocktails were a delightful surprise, the crowd vibe was vibrant, the ambience was elegant, and the DJ created the perfect soundtrack for the evening. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner date spot or simply want to enjoy some exceptional drinks and food with friends, Nobu Dubai is definitely a restaurant...
