Kaleidoscope restaurant in the Atlantis hotel, Dubai, is a culinary gem that invites you on a gastronomic journey through a world of flavors. The moment you step into the restaurant, the vibrant and eclectic atmosphere sets the stage for an exceptional dining experience. The décor is stylish, yet welcoming, creating an ambiance that caters to both casual diners and those seeking a more upscale culinary adventure.

Now, let's talk about the open buffet, especially during Arabian Nights – it's nothing short of amazing. The spread is a feast for the senses, showcasing the rich and diverse culinary heritage of the Arabian region. From the moment you approach the buffet, the aromatic spices and the colorful presentation of dishes entice you to indulge in the flavors of the Middle East.

The selection of dishes is extensive and reflects the authenticity of Arabian cuisine. Whether you're a fan of savory mezze, succulent grilled meats, or fragrant rice dishes, the buffet has it all. The live cooking stations add a dynamic element to the dining experience, allowing you to savor freshly prepared specialties.

The attention to detail in presentation is noteworthy. Each dish is a work of art, not just in taste but also in visual appeal. The variety of salads, appetizers, and main courses ensures that there's something to suit every palate. Traditional desserts, like baklava and kunafa, add a sweet ending to the Arabian culinary journey.

The staff at Kaleidoscope contributes significantly to the overall dining experience. Their warmth and attentiveness create a welcoming atmosphere, and their knowledge of the menu helps guide diners through the diverse array of dishes. It's evident that the team takes pride in offering not just a meal but a culinary adventure.

As for the setting, the restaurant overlooks the stunning surroundings of the Atlantis hotel, providing a picturesque backdrop for your dining experience. The combination of delectable cuisine and a captivating view makes dining at Kaleidoscope a memorable affair.

While the Arabian Nights buffet is a highlight, Kaleidoscope also offers a variety of international cuisines during other times, ensuring a diverse culinary experience for repeat visits.

In conclusion, Kaleidoscope at the Atlantis hotel in Dubai is a culinary haven that beautifully captures the essence of Arabian cuisine. The open buffet, especially during Arabian Nights, is a feast that transports diners to the heart of the Middle East. From the welcoming ambiance to the attentive staff and, of course, the exquisite food, Kaleidoscope is a delightful culinary destination that deserves...

It was a great experience dining at Kaleidoscope. Let me enumerate the things I liked first. STAFF-They’re all very friendly and accomodating. They’ll definitely make sure you’ll get the good service you’ve paid for. They won’t let you feel unimportant. Yes!!! Customers really matters to them. They’ll make sure you’re well taken cared and served for. Special kudos to Thet (from Myanmar) 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 - 5/5 MAIN COURSE-They serve Chinese (one of the best siomais I’ve had in UAE), Arabic, Indian, American (lots of roasted items, not sure though if that’s American or something else 😂😂😂), Italian (with live cooking station serving different varieties of pasta menu with your own choice of pasta noodles) and Japanese. They also have soup counter, I’ve tried their Laksa and it’s so good and full of ingredients. They also have a complete set of condiments to improve your dish. I forgot what it’s called but I loved their wraps with cheese, zaatar and tomato sauce. 5/5 PASTRIES-Ooohhh it’s heavenly. The best thing is they have not overloaded sugar in their recipes. Yeah, it’s not that sweet, it’s just fine. However, since they serve different varieties of sweets too from English to Arabic to Indian, how I wish they also served gulab jamun which could have been so perfect with their own version of vanilla ice cream. 4/5 AMBIENCE-It’s crowded yet you’d still feel comfortable coz there’s a lot of space to walk at. It’s too cozy and clean. Their table set up too is good. And yeah, the place is well ventilated and lighted. 4/5

And now the things which I didn’t like. Uhmmm... It’s not that I really didn’t like it but it could have been better if they’ll include the drink with the buffet price too. I understand that it’s a business strategy though, it’s just that 215 aed is already too costly. However, if you’ll get their all you can drink for 45 aed, you’ll get different kinds of sodas and water.

And the greatest of all is that they accept the entertainer which is a lot of great savings too since the price for one is 215 aed. 5/5

I’m giving a perfect 5 coz all in all, you guys did a great job for keeping a happy and satisfied customer here....

I have to disagree with most of the people here and I’m very disappointed with the quality of food at Kaleidoscope. Kaleidoscope offers an international buffet and claims to be a unique cuisine experience. The buffet costs 235 AED, which is around 65 USD. With that price, you can get a 4-5 course meal in Paris at a 0-1 star Michelin restaurant in Paris. Service is very good. When you enter the restaurant, the server would give you a tour of the restaurant. They also serve you drinks and take away your finished plates timely. Food quality is quite bad. Most of the seafood is dry and not fresh, most likely imported and frozen. For instance, the oyster doesn’t even have oyster liquid in it. Chinese food is not edible. The dim sum are not made in house and looks like the ones you’d find in the frozen section in Asian supermarket. Rice is not fluffy and seems to have some contaminations from other food. The cheese pizzas are ok. Definitely not taste Italian but still edible. But I don’t understand why would they put salmon on a pizza. Sushi and sashimi are dreadful and not freshly made. I saw them taking out a tray of sushi from fridge to replace an empty shelf. Look at the dry piece of tuna below. It’s worse than the ones you’d find in supermarket. Indian food is good and deserts are ok. Baguette and bread seem to be made in house with acceptable quality. The chefs seem to lack proper and rigorous culinary training as they can’t even cut fruits with precision (see the fruit cubes, all cuts should be roughly same size). Overall I would give 3/10 and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It definitely needs substantial improvement. It’s hard to believe this is the quality of food you’d get in Atlantis and it’s definitely not worth the price tag.
