Edge Creekside Hotel — Hotel in Dubai

We really enjoyed staying in this wonderful hotel in a cozy place where my wife and I spent our wedding anniversary. The room seemed spacious, clean and quiet, with a fresh modern renovation and amenities such as slippers and tea/coffee, a bathrobe, a separate bathtub and shower, disposable combs, toothbrush and paste, and a disposable shaving. It's all in the package. Our room was cleaned every day. For the safety of our belongings, there was also a safe in the room, but it was not even necessary, as the hotel staff was very polite and kind-hearted. You feel safe in the hotel. One of important aspects was the 24-hour reception, which was incredibly convenient for late check-in and early check-out. The administrators were friendly and always ready to help, which greatly simplified the registration process. Danish helped us check-in, and his colleague helped us deliver the suitcases to the room immediately. You feel very welcome at the hotel. I would also like to mention the breakfasts at the hotel. They were varied and delicious every day. Guests can choose from a wide range of dishes and snacks. Guests can also order a free cappuccino, which was very pleasant. In particular, I would like to mention the work of a hotel employee named Iqra. She served our table every day and, as in an expensive restaurant, asked if everything was all right. His behavior was both attentive and unobtrusive, which made us very happy. With a large number of guests, you feel like a regular guest, because your preferences are have considered. The gym is spacious and comfortable, with new equipment, there is everything you need to keep fit. Water in swimming pool is clean, as the pool is maintained and cleaned. I would also like to mention the work of the pool staff, who always monitored safety, but did it very carefully, without interfering with rest. We will definitely return to this hotel, as it exceeds our expectations and deserves the highest...

Such a wonderful hotel! The hotel is very new (opened November 2020 we think) and it shows - everything is spotless both in the common areas of the hotel and in the rooms. The hotel even smells great and there are always cleaners cleaning the touch points - lift buttons etc.All of the staff are beyond brilliant - everyone that we encountered was keen to ensure that we had a wonderful stay and made us feel incredibly welcome and like special guests! We booked directly and were upgraded upon arrival and the room was immaculate. Very big room, great facilities (two showers, a coffee machine and kettle, a sofa, a good size desk and lovely toiletries which are refilled every day so there is no shortage) very clean and very well decorated. The gym is a good size and has enough equipment. The pool is lovely and has a good amount of sun loungers. In the winter, the pool doesn't get the sun all day but we just made sure we timed it so that we were out there at the right time to make the most of it. In the summer, we think it will get the sun all day. Breakfast was excellent. The buffet was opened on our last day in the Feta Restaurant which provides the option to have breakfast on the terrace. One of the waiters at breakfast, Mirzah (apologies if the spelling is incorrect!), went over and above to ensure we enjoyed our meal - he was truly excellent. The Halo Halo restaurant on the ground floor is also a must try. It is excellent value for money (particularly the lunch menu - two courses for 48 or 58 AED), the portion sizes are very generous and everything was very tasty - we recommend trying the ice teas too! Overall, we would definitely recommend...

Disappointing Experience Despite Great Reviews

We were excited to stay at Edge Hotel after reading all the glowing reviews, but unfortunately, our experience did not live up to expectations.

We opted for the all-inclusive food package at Feta Restaurant, but were disappointed to find that many items from the menu were unavailable during our stay. This was particularly frustrating during our visit over Christmas and New Year when we expected better variety and service. Furthermore we waited most days over 45 minutes to get our food. The food was good and Riyaz was wonderful and so friendly towards us.

Another issue was the pool area, which, due to the time of year, was in shadow for most of the day, as the sun was blocked by surrounding buildings. This made it difficult to enjoy the pool as we had hoped.

We also had a negative experience with the spa. I received a massage, but the room was far from relaxing, and to my shock, I was offered an inappropriate "extra service" at the end, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. This was completely unacceptable and definitely left a bad impression.

On the positive side, the rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, and Ritu, the housekeeper, was very friendly and did a great job taking care of our room. Staff was supper friendly and helpful especially Riyaz and Caroline.

Overall, while there were some good aspects of our stay, the issues with food availability, pool location, and the uncomfortable spa experience really detracted from what should have been a relaxing vacation. I hope the hotel can address these areas for...
