Horrible food not worth the money at all. What is the point of having a Filipino restaurant without Filipino chefs??? We paid 69 dirhams for the Sunday brunch buffet and it was totally not worth it. The buffet was so small. Hardly 5 to 6 items.. There wasn't any Filipino desserts plus no halo halo included in the buffet??? Imagine going to halo halo restaurant for a Sunday brunch buffet and it doesn't even halo halo. I could have just gone to any other Filipino restaurant then. ...The good thing is the ammbience it's 10 on 10. The management needs to get Filipino chefs and redesign their buffet. Even though the options are less the food should be tasty. When we shared our feedback with the waiter he himself asked us to put a review online as per him they have received so many feedbacks about the food however the management has refused to take any actions. That's tragic... Never visiting or recommending this restaurant to anyone. Highly...
Read moreThis is a truly fantastic new pan Asian restaurant! It is both vegan-friendly and vegetarian-friendly. Plus the chef was very accommodating of my partner’s allergies.
The staff is incredibly friendly, chatty, and generous! They took the time to do a mini free sauce tasting because the chef makes his own bottled sauces (which you can buy too.) They were very professional and took our dietary restrictions seriously.
I ordered the vegetarian (which is actually vegan) Namya Curry with Bean Curd. It was SO GOOD- the tofu, the fresh veg and the curry were delectable. I ordered it with a side of steamed rice too bc it doesn’t come with any rice.
My partner ordered the Chili Prawn Fried Rice and they made it fresh and onion-free for him. He said it was so tasty and the shrimps were really juicy/succulent.
P.s. the namesake of the restaurant, Halo Halo, is a Filipino dessert! Can’t wait to try it the next time...
