A Delightful Stay at an Exceptional Hotel I recently had the pleasure of staying at an outstanding hotel, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I stepped into the lobby until the time of my departure, every aspect of my stay was absolutely fantastic. I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the front office team, especially Ms. Mougarita and Ms. Reem, for their exceptional service and warm hospitality.

Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Ms. Mougarita and Ms. Reem, who efficiently handled the check-in process. Their friendly demeanor and professionalism made me feel instantly welcomed and ensured that the start of my stay was smooth and hassle-free.

The housekeeping team at the hotel deserves special recognition for their outstanding work. The cleanliness and tidiness of my room were impeccable, and I was truly impressed by their attention to detail. It was evident that the team took great pride in their work, as every corner of the room was spotless, and all amenities were replenished promptly. Their dedication to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness truly enhanced my overall experience.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel with my friends, and it was an experience we will cherish for a long time. The room ambiance was remarkable, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for us to unwind after a day of exploration. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings added a touch of elegance to the room, making our stay even more enjoyable.

One aspect that truly stood out during our stay was the delicious breakfast served at the hotel. Not only was the food of excellent quality, but the timing schedule was also well-planned, ensuring that we could start our day with a satisfying meal. The variety of options available catered to different tastes and dietary preferences, and the attentive staff ensured that everything was replenished promptly. It was a great way to kickstart our day of adventure.

I must emphasize that I have no negative feedback to offer regarding my stay at this hotel. The overall experience was truly exceptional, and I am grateful for the outstanding service and attention to detail provided by the entire staff.

In conclusion, my stay at this hotel was nothing short of delightful. The front office team, Ms. Mougarita and Ms. Reem, were instrumental in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, while the housekeeping team ensured that my room was always pristine. Staying with my friends made the experience even more memorable, and we thoroughly enjoyed the room ambience and cleanliness. The delicious breakfast and its well-planned timing schedule were additional highlights. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a remarkable and unforgettable stay.

Thank you to the entire hotel staff for their exceptional service. I look forward to returning in the future and experiencing their outstanding...

My recent stay at this hotel was deeply disappointing, marked by borderline racially rude interactions. This is the worst “so-called” 5 star hotel and hospitality I’ve experienced in Dubai.

While my husband checked us in, I waited in the lobby because I’m pregnant and felt unwell. When I joined him afterward, the receptionist interrogated him about whether I was actually staying with him—implying I was “sneaking in”—and aggressively demanded proof my passport was registered. It was a very strange question because we just checked in one minute ago. The tone was unnecessarily hostile, leaving me feeling unwelcome and scrutinized.

In the lift going up, I asked if the hotel had a spa. The receptionist snapped, “No”. Then I asked again whether I could book a massage in the hotel, or the receptionist could recommend some nearby salon. The answer was again emphasising“we don’t have any spa here”, without even any effort to give any advise. Yet hours later, our friend (a white male guest) was told the spa has been “reopened” and he was “lucky” to enjoy. My husband asked the reception again on the second day and the truth is that the spa had been reopened already before our arrival and indeed we could book a massage till midnight. The stark disparity in responses felt culturally unaware at best.

The next morning, staff refused to let me enter the breakfast area to pick up my friend to leave together, falsely claiming the breakfast area was empty and nobody was there. Moments later, I find my friend walked out - he had been inside all along. The obstruction felt intentional and petty.

Our room had a malfunctioning light that couldn’t be turned off. My husband found a technician at 1 AM but he didn’t know how to fix it. Worse, his phone ringed, and he answered the phone call in our room while I was already sleeping, showing zero regard for guests’ rest.

I want to skip the other unwelcoming moments with the reception. It seems the team really don’t know how to welcome guests, and they are very unhappy to answer any questions raised by the guests (at least me and the other colleagues from the same race as me), assist the guests, and do their job properly. I hope the management team could treat this complaint seriously. I originally want to give one star, but the rooftop bar waitress is lovely. The additional star is...

My family and I just spent the kindest, most fun, most welcoming vacation at the Grand Cosmopolitan Hotel. It indeed deserve the five stars rating and much more.

Check-In: The check-in experience was a “breeze” with lovely and welcoming receptionists, the escort to the room by the receptionist was a nice gesture.

In-room amenities and housekeeping: Everything a family needs as amenities in the room is available or can be arranged by the excellent staff. The housekeeping staff was excellent and attentive to all details as they make up the room, the room sparkled at each make up round. Sheets, towels, and tissues were regularly changed to pristine and neat replacements. Shout out to all housekeeping staff, especially Linn and all other workers whose names I unfortunately can’t remember.

Gardenia Brasserie and Americano Cafe: A role model at hospitality. Breakfast at the Gardenia was vibrant with variety of dishes and hospitable staff. Ann was kind and hospitable to my family, especially my daughter. Waiters and waitresses at the Gardenia were kind and helpful with everything we needed. Coffee and pastry are mouthwatering at the Americano. During my stay, I had my morning turkish coffee fix by either Ann or Yelis which was done by the best people, and the perfect morning routine before I went about my day.

Family Activities: Some days we didn’t have to leave the hotel as it offers nice and fun activities. Gym and Swimming pools, for adults and kids, with refreshments are available. Kids play area are also available. For relaxing, in-house wellness spa can be used. My daughter had an accident by the gym. The security and the duty manager were attending and offer all the help there is. They offer first aid and even asked to call a doctor. Later, they send a cake to our room which was a tremendously kind gesture.

Check-out: As light as check-in was, check-out was a hustle-free and the hotel was kind to offer luggage weighing so I don’t suffer at the airport with extra weight !!

All in all, the vacation was the best I’ve ever experienced at Dubai, and will definitely visit again. Thank you, Grand Cosmopolitan Hotel...

This hotel is not a five star hotel. The service here was awful. On multiple occasions, I felt that the treatment I received was unwelcoming and even intrusive. For instance, when I ordered food via Deliveroo, a staff member questioned the name on the order and implied that I might not be staying at the hotel, despite already being inside. This was both embarrassing and unnecessary. Additionally, during breakfast, a woman at the restaurant area questioned me about whether breakfast was included in my booking. She gave me a disapproving look and even asked a colleague to escort me to a table while she checked if I was entitled to breakfast. The chef ignored me and chose to make another guests omelette ahead of mine. Of course I made him aware of his mistake and he wasn’t happy. Both interactions were completely humiliating and made me feel uncomfortable in front of other guests. On top of this, the overall ambiance and facilities were less than ideal. The WiFi is unreliable, with frequent connectivity issues, and the walls in my room were so thin that the noise from neighboring rooms and the hallways disrupted my rest on multiple occasions. Lastly, my stay coincided with my birthday, and while I appreciated the thoughtful gesture of placing balloons in my room, it would have been nice to have a more complete acknowledgment of the occasion—perhaps with a small cake or a fruit platter, particularly as I was traveling alone. Even when I made the hotel aware of this, they left me a plate of fruit. See image. It’s hilarious that they call themselves a five star hotel. The service in that hotel is like being in a prison assembly. The staff need serious customer service training or a pay rise, maybe both because they don’t seem to be happy working there. I also felt that they were treating me differently because of my race. Interesting that another reviewer felt the same. Who needs to stay at a hotel with miserable, snooty personnel. Not me! Many better options with people who know how to make their guests feel welcome.

I recently stayed at the Grand Cosmopolitan Hotel in Dubai and had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality stood out. The staff at the reception were incredibly welcoming, professional, and efficient. They made check-in smooth and were always available with a smile to answer any questions or assist with anything I needed during my stay. The bell staff were equally impressive—friendly, fast, and attentive when helping with luggage. It’s clear that the hotel has a team that truly values guest comfort and experience. My room was spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Room service was also top-notch—orders arrived promptly, the food was hot and fresh, and the service was always courteous and polite. You can really feel the attention to detail in every part of the guest experience. One of the highlights for me was the rooftop pool. It’s a beautiful spot to relax with stunning views over Dubai. The pool itself is well-maintained, with comfortable loungers and a peaceful atmosphere. If I had one suggestion, it would be to keep the rooftop pool open a little longer during the summer months—when the temperatures are so high during the day, a later swim would be perfect! Breakfast was another standout feature of the hotel. Not only was the buffet varied, fresh, and delicious, but the fact that it’s served until noon is a huge plus. It gave me the chance to enjoy a slow morning without feeling rushed, which really made my stay feel like a holiday. All in all, I was thoroughly impressed by the Grand Cosmopolitan Hotel. The level of service, the quality of the rooms and amenities, and the overall atmosphere exceeded my expectations. I would definitely return, and I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Dubai.
