Review: Hotel Centro Barsha
I booked my stay at Hotel Centro Barsha through the platform Hopper, and I must say my experience was far from satisfactory. Unfortunately, my stay turned into a complete nightmare, which I blame on both the Hopper platform and the hotel management.
Over the last two days of my stay, my access card to the room was repeatedly deactivated because Hopper allegedly failed to pay the hotel. Even though I had already paid in full through Hopper, the hotel demanded an additional payment from me. This is not only unacceptable but also a prime example of incompetence and poor service – on the part of both Hopper and the hotel.
I contacted Hopper, and they assured me that the payment had been released to the hotel. However, the hotel claims otherwise. As a result, I’ve been stuck in the middle of this dispute for two days, constantly locked out of my room and treated unfairly.
The most frustrating part of this situation is that the guest should not be held responsible for issues between the platform and the hotel. These two parties work together, and it is their responsibility to resolve contractual issues – not mine. As a guest, I want to relax and enjoy my stay, but instead, I’ve experienced stress and frustration.
To make matters worse, the hotel management offered me insincere apologies and hollow attempts at consolation, which I find highly unprofessional and disrespectful. What I need is a proper solution to the issue, not empty gestures.
I understand that mistakes can happen, but what’s missing here is a professional and prompt resolution. Neither Hopper nor the hotel handled this matter in a competent or customer-friendly way. Instead, the problem has been unfairly shifted onto me – which is absolutely unacceptable.
I would avoid both Hotel Centro Barsha and booking through Hopper in the future. Such unprofessional handling of guests and problems is simply unacceptable. Both parties need to seriously rethink their processes to ensure such situations don’t happen again.
Conclusion: Unfortunately, I cannot recommend either the hotel or Hopper. If you want to relax, I strongly suggest choosing another hotel. Spare yourself the stress and...

Although I haven’t completed a full month yet at the hotel, I already feel compelled to express my appreciation for the outstanding service I’ve experienced so far. From the moment I arrived, the staff have been consistently welcoming, professional, and attentive to every detail.
Staying in room 241, I’ve felt comfortable and well taken care of. The cleanliness, daily upkeep, and overall ambiance have exceeded my expectations. It’s clear that the team takes pride in their work, and it truly shows.
• Mr.Jayson, Ms.Dijahane, Mr.Asura, and Mr.Quadri (Front Desk): These team members stood out for their professionalism, kindness, and consistency. Every interaction was welcoming and respectful. They handled requests quickly, always with a positive attitude. They are truly the gems of your front desk team, and I hope management sees the value they bring every day.
• Second Floor Housekeeping Team: I would like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to Dhan Badur from the housekeeping team. He has been consistently polite, hardworking, and attentive throughout my stay.
His dedication to keeping the room clean and organized did not go unnoticed. He always greets with a smile and is respectful, which makes a big difference in a guest’s daily comfort.
• Security Team (Outside): Special thanks to Saqib — always welcoming, alert, and dedicated. His presence gave a strong sense of safety and comfort. It’s clear that he takes pride in his role, and I truly hope the management sees and appreciates his hard work.
