I just had the pleasure of dining at LaLezar, the Turkish restaurant and cafe nestled in the heart of downtown Dubai, and I must say that it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant until the last bite of my meal, I was treated to an exceptional experience of warm hospitality, exquisite food, and delightful ambiance.

From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was greeted warmly by the staff and was impressed by the valet parking service, which made the whole experience more convenient.

The restaurant itself boasts a beautiful indoor and outdoor seating area. The indoor ambiance is elegant, with impeccable decor and a cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious and good portion. The meat was enough for 2, and salmon enough for one. My lemon margarita was too sour so i asked for syrup, the waitress took it back and made a new one! The coffee with orange was strange for us, but we finished it.

The service was the best we’ve ever gotten. From helping us with what to order, checking on us, and making our order in 10 mins because we were in a hurry. Faisal the manager has gone out of his way by rushing our orders and booking us a taxi. He even walked us to the taxi, opened the door for us and said goodbye. We were stunned!! We absolutely appreciated this as we know it’s beyond his duty.

The parking was tough for us. We went around the block and eventually parked at the back of the building, 5 mins walk to the restaurant. Maybe there’s a parking available that we don’t know of. Call and ask.

A place for improvement: i like to have my salad with the main dish, so i ask to keep it on the table. After notifying the 2 servers watching our table that we want everything kept, a 3rd guy who isn’t aware came to the table, took a plate and left. His intentions were to clear it for us but it was a bit exhausting having to cut a conversation to tell the waiter “keep the dish”. In addition, the waiter would take our order, with good intentions the manager would come and suggest something different. Being the people pleasers we are, we said yes to the suggestion but it wasn’t what we initially ordered.
