We were looking for a good Lebanese/Arabic place to have dinner, and having checked out Zomato, decided to come here for a meal We had a very nice selection of vegetarian options that were available 👍We were served good black and green olives with brown bread rolls - a good way to break bread with well-seasoned olives 👍 Had Hummus, fatoush, Muhamara, Warak enab, fattoush, batata harra followed by the lentil soup. All these were served with fresh baked Arabic breads and another round of the warm brown rolls - The food was exquisite, could not fault anything in the meal, everything served was really very well prepared. 👎The downer of the meal was the listless service - which is really surprising in such a nice restaurant - This is the difference between a good restaurant and a great one. Our server had a completely disinterested attitude, we requested for an extra Hummus, and it took forever to come, and on reminding this person, no apology offered, just a gesture with the hands - it is coming. On asking for the bill, he did the payment on the credit card machine, no interest in finding out how the meal experience was, ( We would have only thanked him for the wonderful meal) - just left the CC receipt and the bill on the extreme end of the table and walked away without handing back the bill or the CC receipt. Have been a bit harsh on giving 3 stars, but hopefully, the management takes this positively and gets more consistency in the service as the food is brilliant The location is excellent, plenty of parking available underground. The restaurant itself is nicely laid out, great outdoor sitting - a nice setting for a...
Read moreA very nice Lebanese restaurant with ample seafood and regular Lebanese food with authentic taste. The restaurant is located in the happening Dubai Downtown area. The restaurant has a chic vibe with a very fine design and decor. Has huge seating space indoors, while ample outdoor seating area next to the walkway and road so slightly noisier. The menu is huge and has a wide variety in all categories from starters, grilled menu, Shwarma, seafood options, as well as drinks, fresh juices, and coffees. The menu provides ample variety for vegetarian options as well, while you can check with the staff to ensure food complies with your dietary restrictions. Pricing is premium and slightly steep, but should be expected at a restaurant of this standard and at this location. There is plenty of staff who are very nice and active and the ordered items were served pretty fast. The restaurant is popular for large groups, is kid-friendly, and the entire restaurant and facilities are wheelchair accessible. The restaurant is located in a busy area however parking is not difficult. You can either give your car to valet right outside the restaurant or just park it for free in the large underground basement parking lot with vast parking space. The parking lot is accessible through elevators as...
Read moreDidn’t get pictures of the restaurant, food, or receipts but I can sure tell you about the experience itself. First of all, I love Lebanese food. It’s hard not to obsess over the hummus with meat, the bread, and typical meat dishes. They were modern with a tablet as a form of digital menu, but still had you order with the waiter. It was a Saturday night and decently packed (you have to think twice about coming during winter time, it’s surprisingly chilly). We were a party of four, two couples, and shared a meat dish, a shrimp fatteh (I believe it’s called but don’t quite me on this), hummus with meat and bread, the aubergine version, and even for big eaters - I’d say we were quite full. We finished the dinner with sharing the round cookie-like desert you see her. It had all the baklava like flavors but was an ice cream cookie sandwich. Nice to try! Happy to share among the four of us. It would have been a lot of food for one. The waiter was extra kind, made some jokes, made sure to bring a standing heater, and the location was central (free parking below!) so what more could we ask for? We probably paid around 100 AED per person which, I’m surprised by considering we were on the boardwalk...
