Leila Restaurant — Restaurant in Dubai

I ordered 2 plates of hindbe delivery and im not happy at all with the taste. It’s not the real hindbe and i believe it’s اوراق سِلقً or Chard leaves, i called the manager Marwan and complained the same and requested he checks with the chef and calls me back but that never happened. Im not sure how a reputable restaurant like Laila could mislead the customer this way. Im pretty sure The leaves are not hindbe but other vegetable leaves and on top the plate was swimming with oil, it was excessively oily. Im not satisfied with this plate and the photo i will share is self explanatory about the leaves and the exaggerated oil used. The leaves are too long which could be stuck inside the throat, as if you are eating literally green tree leaves. I wish the restaurant owner could see those pictures and let me know if this is accepted to be presented to the consumer. Just wanted to share this with all Customers for them To see how these days restaurants are selling anything to make profit and they are neglecting the quality and not only that they are increasing their prices so bad quality with...

This message for the management to read: me and my husband came to Leila restaurant yesterday 20th of Jan to have a breakfast. The place was empty, couple of tables were occupied. I ordered scrambled eggs and some Arabic starters and my husband ordered coffee. We were waiting more than 30 min, the food did not arrive. The waiters are rube arrogant and not polite at all. They are simply ignoring customers when you call them. I asked where is the food. The answer I received that it’s very complicated dish and because of its 1 pm difficult to cook scrambled eggs ahahaha. Karl!!! Scrambled eggs are complicated dish to cook! Ridiculous. At the same time people are coming and for them the food is serviced like 10-14 min. After 30 min coffee arrived!!! Wow We just simply left this place, it’s such a ridiculous experience. Management needs to hire a professional people who knows their job. I guess that waiter just forgot to place the order and they were giving us excuses that scrambled eggs are complicated dish to cook. Never ever we come again. And don’t recommend this...

I havent been to leila in a long time, the retuen was extremely dissapointing the food was good to be fair, chicken liver wasnt great and the dessert was really embarassing we had the set menu amd the rice piddine came in a cup that was meant for sharing for a grouo of 10?! How do u share a cupe of pudding? I booked the place to have my team try the lebanese food and itvwas an embarassment the service was terrible the food was extremely late by the time we got the main dish we were done with food, we had to chase the waiters all the time, we were a group of 10 the least expected in an empty resto we were 3 tables at off peak hours is to dedicate 1 waiter for the table.
