A very mixed emotions review: booked via airbnb, upon arrival we were essentially stranded as the host Murat wasn’t present once we’d arrived even though I had advised the time we would be at the apartment for check in, it was only due to discretion of the floor security in which they allowed us to check in after viewing all the valid documents & confirmations. The rooms are great & clean, the living area & balcony is also nice overlooking the main event of the apartment which is the Burj khalifa & fountain shows, the view is truly incredible but it is there to overlook the discrepancies in the apartment such as blocked sinks, no hoover, broken cupboards no fresh bedsheets/towels AND not to mention we had to stay with the door unlocked for 4 nights as there was no explanation as to where the keycard was and reception were unable to help so we needed the host but once again he was missing?? We also had to Careem ourselves toilet roll twice as none had been left or sent even though I had bashed the host many times, he seemed to disappear during the stay & as soon as we’d checked out became active online….nonetheless I do recommend the stay simply down to the views & the location as it is 10 minutes walk from the mall & fountain shows & Burj park being right...

I booked a two bedroom apartment in Downtown Dubai at the Grande Signature Residences via a company called 'Like Home'. The apartments are tastefully furnished, but there were clearly items missing from the unit. There was no hair dryer or dustbin in the lounge. When we checked in, the air conditioning was not working. A maintenance man was sent after 2 hours of waiting.

I also want to warn future guests about an important issue. A deposit was taken at the time of booking, with the clear understanding that it would be returned on the day of check-out. Despite leaving the property in excellent condition, the deposit was not refunded as promised. Although they initially agreed to return it, they failed to follow through. Unfortunately, I found the agents and accounting team to be unreliable and untruthful. Despite multiple assurances, the deposit was never returned. This has left a terrible impression of the company "Like Home," deeming them dishonest and unprofessional overall. They have repeatedly been reminded and requested bank details but did not follow through with the payment. I travel quite consistently and have never come across such a situation in any part of the world before. It's a shame, but I will not be...
